I clearly mentioned other ways to monetize especially shows and a tour which they already started doing premium shows...having a verzuz concert with 2-3 acts which a streaming platform as a summer tour was right there.

The whole “We outside now” is silly when people are glued to their phones all day everyday for any other simple reason. I see people watching social media sitting at live concerts cause they can’t put their phones down. There will always be some type of audience for verzuz. Maybe not as big as previously but it will always have eyes if the matchup is right.
Bruhs want to be different so bad.

The whole idea of streaming services is to push content to your phone because people barely watch tv supposedly. People are in their phones at the club, restaurants, etc. That excuse is definitely dumb.
No matter what they did, ya'll would've found a way to hate on it anyway. That's the nature of The Booth. Before they sold it off, people were already talking about it wasn't going to last. When it got bigger, people were ready to jump ship altogether. Then they sold it off, then the narrative switched to them being sellouts.
I wouldn't have sold until I could get at least 500 m's from somebody. Verzuz is never ever going to play out, trust me...as long as you can get the right legends to sign off on "battling" the ish is always gonna be poppin. And think about it, that ish aint really open up to the outside "white" world like that either, it was just us really that was giving it all them wild numbers. The possibilities are crazy, them nigs is ridiculous for sellin that off.
