That's because this is not the ad causing outrage. There's another ad where she says "Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color. My genes/jeans are blue" which followed up with the tagline "Sydney Sweeney has great Jeans". Combined together it's easy to see the eugenics parallel.

It seems American Eagle has recognized this, because they've taken that version of the ad down."

Since you mentioned me, I’ll respond. First of all, I saw this shyt trending online so I went to YouTube to see what the big fuss was about and brought it to The Coli. I saw the “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans/genes” slogan, so I thought maybe that was it. There’s a reason I titled it “racist propaganda or much ado about nothing” because for ME, while I see the subliminal messaging, it wasn’t that big a deal to cause all that controversy. How was I supposed to know there was another ad that got taken down? I didn’t do a deep dive because it wasn’t that serious. Got nikkas on here losing their minds. I even had someone send me a DM over this shyt. I know The Coli loves their “pawgs” but gotdamm
