Same in my household. I was heavily monitored & threatened while my brothers got the obligatory "Don't be ripping, running, & being a fool out there. I'm not raising any of your kids."
I often think that my upbringing is a huge reason why I didn't want/have any kids.

I just hope that he is putting as much or more energy into cultivating her mind, personality, & validating her (fathers set the example). I hope he isn't sending her the message that she is the total sum of her twat. B/c the moment she gives it up to the wrong guy, who only wanted sex, she's going to be in for a kick in the head/emotional turmoil. She's gorgeous and in many instances, beauty grants favoritism, etc. But it's crucial to be of substance too and possess healthy self-worth.

I'm conflicted because I feel like his intentions are good, method (SM) is raggedy. He's not doing anything that she won't find herself thanking him for later on. I know that I was grateful for my parents when I saw how rough some of my peers looked - rough w/3 teeth in their heads.

I agree about son,you definitely need to instill the same knowledge into your son. But at the end of the day you know how boys/men are,when you are a man yourself.. I explained this before kids and teenagers brains are very impressionable, and th average kid spends more time in school and with friends than with they parents( nowadays with social media this is even worse)

A doctor can’t tell you if a girl had had sex or not. And most won’t even attempt to try. It’s not considered a reliable, respectful, or medically viable thing to do anymore.
