That’s way too many people for someone that’s done one (1) actual show.

understanding crowd dynamics (*smack*), that whole picking a person in the front thing..Different ballgame

At some point y’all gotta realize also TI just isn’t that funny.

Most comics aren't funny doing stand up first starting out

You gotta build that muscle like you do every other muscle

It ain't like telling jokes in front of your homies, it's way more factors

I don't think it's lack of funny, more so than lack of experience

If he persists he'll be fine

goat comedians got booed at local bars and hole in the wall type venues… not in arenas

There's plenty of examples of comedians getting booed in bigger venues and turning that shyt around & getting the crowd to like them

T.I. seems dumb enough to think that he can just skip all the steps and practice and just start doing comedy regularly as a headliner. He thinks it's just another hustle and clearly doesn't respect the art at all.

When any real stand up comedian would tell you that it takes years & years of practice to become good. You can sort of cheat your way to the top in music by having one hot song (not saying T.I. did that) but in comedy there's really no shortcuts, unless someone is already like a comedy writer/actor, then it could be easier to start doing stand up too.

Audiences are going to be harder on him because everybody knows his come up wasn't comedy. He's going to have to go harder because of that because people look at him like "he expects us to laugh because he's famous" instead of him making people laugh because he's funny.

Honestly, T.I. was great as a rapper, but there wasn't real humor in his music. And like most rappers, the real humor in his music was the unintentional and intentional comedy in the rants tacked onto the end of songs. Biggie and maybe Pac are the only rappers that seemed naturally funny. It wouldn't even be jokes, but just the delivery of certain phrases or statements in a casual interview that were funny even when they weren't trying to be. Ghost, Scarface, sometimes Nas, and Big Boi have that quality. I remember Big Boi was hilarious on Wild N Out and it was because of his response to certain questions and situations were funny and he kept a straight face the whole time.

He's become a literal court jester. A clown. I mean I guess it's cool he's trying something new on some "you only live once" ish, but from a rap perspective he's pretty much lost all his "mystique".

Can't really imagine being interested in any future music from him.

I honestly don’t know why he’s trying to do this now but that’s on him. I was just saying the greats went through this too at some point . Of course TI the comedian would get it too. I heard a bit from him and he don’t even sound as good as the best comicview comedian.. maybe he will get better though

What?! :what:

Ive never heard anyone mention them as "naturally funny" rappers smh. Biggie got some funny lines and mightve been cool between friends but thats.it.

nikkas mention Redman, Method man, Snoop, Camron and nikkas like that.

2pac? Stop it.
