Regular everyday Joes with 0 prior experience, from the confines of their ashy ass studio apartments (until the youtube checks/donations really start rollin) are now analysts, reporters, sketch comedians, advice columnists, music reviewers, movie reviewers, pundits, life coaches, financial gurus, date doctors, etc...

I don’t knock him at all for trying to be a comedian but he has no business being in that type of venue doing strictly comedy. He’s leveraging his rap career to skip steps.

Setups was awful he definitely shouldnt have been at a venue that size yet.

we also got the white boy Jacob from wildin out the fukk up outtta there too. Thta boy boy wasnt up there for more than 2 mins before they started booing his style wasnt made for that type of setup i think

Michael Blackson probably had the best set of the night. He killed it.

Joe Torey was hilarious. Tony Robert from detroit killed it too. Dee ray did his thing as usual. Rip Michaels was funny as hell as the host nikka changed outfits after every set . Cutting ass on nikkas in the crowd. One homey was in the crowd legit like . Rip was like “why is yo bobby shmurda looking ass so angry? Laugh nikka!”. The angry man had a bluetooth headset in his ear so Rip KILLED him after crowd lost it.

The flyer is missleading a few of them nikkas wasnt there (bruce bruce, nick cannon, eddie griffin). Maybe they just didnt make the ny show? Idk

Pretty much.

Everybody got stories and everybody got some funny ass stories. I'm not a professional comedian or anything, but there seems to be a massive amount of repetition involved vs going out there and winging it by dropping versions of unpolished material.

Big difference between music and many other fields is there are certain things that can cover your mid content - like a beat that slaps.

That even if the bars may be mediocre, the harmonies and beat or the artists' flows are doing their job carrying it.

Not saying T.I is a bad artist, quite the opposite bro is a legend. But comedy seems like a whole other beast.
