^^^^ all fun, light hearted Hip Hop, yet posters in this thread are trying to argue that Busta blew up off street rap.
Can you quote these posts?
he is already a multi platinum artist at this point that blew up off street records.
You don't even know hip hop history which is why you keep making ridiculous post like this. Busta blew up in 1991 by bodying the legends known as a tribe called quest on their own record. He was already major and known from leaders of the new school but scenario put him on the map. Scenario was a pure 90's street hip hop record.
A few years later Flavor in your ear was another street record with some the biggest rap artists of all time in puff and biggie and ll cool j and Busta again destroys the record. This was a street record featuring goats btw for those who said busta can't hang with them.
It isnt until mid 90s Busta drops his first solo hit single in woo hah. This was a top 10 record that year And get this.. it's a street record. He is spitting. The whole "the coming" album is 90s gritty boom bap hip hop.
His 2nd album got put your hands where my eyes can see but it's still a harder street album overall from beats to the lyrics. It's not goofy mindless club music. He is rapping rapping still.
I would say Party fun lighted hearted Busta doesn't even start until late 90s and his 3rd solo album ELE. That's when you get the gimme some mo records etc.. he is already a multi platinum artist at this point that blew up off street records.

cause that wasnt his lane AT ALL
He should do a versuz against himself
tip vs t.i
set it up Swizzy

forgot about thisWhen T.I. had his run, he was clearly the biggest artist in ATL. T.I. ruined his whole run by
1) Staying in trouble
2) Co-signing and doubling down on the co-sign of Iggy Azalea
3) Becoming ATL'S unofficial spokesman against social injustices
4) Talking to much, which undermines #3 when he was out here talking about his daughter's hymen. The public didn't need to know that. It undoes whatever voice he might've had because feminists and just people in general were dumbfounded and disturbed by that.
