Luda was always taken as a joke even to kids back then. I never put him in the same category as Wayne or TI, who I looked at as real rappers. I have no doubt that if Luda debuted today he would be doing skits on IG and shyt like Ron Suno. Nobody took him seriously as a real rapper. He was more of an entertainer with a goofy image who could make you laugh. Until the very end of his career when he tried to become serious with songs like Runaway Love
And that shyt was GARBAGE and didnt come off as genuine at all.
