Luda sent DIRECT shots at T.I. A few times and Tip ain’t want that smoke…
That should tell you Luda’s pen and skills were respected.
Overall T.I.’s legacy will surpass Luda’s because Luda was the “goofy” one and never made a top to bottom classic album but lets not act like Luda couldn’t be a top tier writer when called upon. There’s a REASON why Luda’s the only southern MC to have a track with both Jay-Z and Nas. Why he’s got tracks with Common, DMX, Beanie Sigel, The Game, & Rick Ross. Because his pen IS respected

This has nothing to do with nothing. I knew you predictable ass nikkas would come in here using that as a template. You nggas aint stay on topic ONCE, yall bringing up a bunch of other shyt. And have yet to dispute what I said.
The only time an MC of similar or equal caliber, success, and notoriety sends shots at another MC and that MC doesn’t respond, its because he’s scared of either two things
1). He’ll be physically harmed (Luda nor his camp was gonna physically touch muthafukkin T.I.)
2). He’ll get a lyrical smackdown that could damage his reputation and career
Fact is T.I. Ain’t want it with Luda, which using process of elimination means that Tip respected that Luda’s WRITING and BARS would give him problems.
I’d honestly say Luda as a writer is the equal of Tip. Luda just never chose to put an emphasis on “serious” or “street” music until the back half of his career, and when he DID get a little deeper with his subject matter, again, it was at least the equal of T.I’s from a WRITING perspective. Neither are in the running for the elite of lyrical MC’s.

T.I. and Luda dissed each other on the same song. T.I. dissed Luda in the booth on Rap City.
It never went beyond "Stomp" because they had too many mutual friends and business associates. They also lived near each other. There's an interview where Luda talks about seeing T.I. in passing during their beef.
With the writing thing, I don't sew Luda writing a story like "What Happened" or something like "Be Better Than Me". At the same time, I don't see T.I. being as witty as Luda was on the "Made You Look" remix.
Luda is the better bar smith (punchlines), but when it comes thought provoking content, narrative ability, and shyt that actually has a deep context? T.I. is th superior. Luda is just more clever. RAPPING wise its about even, because both of them nikkas have an arsenal of flows that they bounce from; at least they did anyway.
T. I. is and always been better than Ludacris. Y’all nikkas love rewriting history on here. Group think ass nikkas. It’s cool to make fun of T.I. so y’all end up downplaying his musical ability and accomplishments. I’m not even a big T.I. fan like that. But back when these nikkas was in real time, Luda was looked at as some goofy nikka that definitely could rap. T.I. music was taken much more serious and was much more respected as an artist.
TI had songs with all the nikkas you named..Luda sent DIRECT shots at T.I. A few times and Tip ain’t want that smoke…
