now i'm not saying this is right.. but lets not act like this wasn't the family dynamic from forever until about 1950-1960.. women couldn't even vote until 1920, long after black men and nobody cared about them. they was regulated to hard labor or "women jobs" and still treated as second class. and the man could beat, demean, command and cheat as he pleased, cause he knew damn well she couldn't afford to live on her own.. but if she cheated, he was beating her ass AND it was legal to beat your wife back then.... and rape her
