50 was actually a dope artist and lyricist. He was his own worst enemy artistically because he sacrifice art for commerce. He was out here really making watered down versions of the songs from artists he was beefing with. When he was going at Ja, he had "21 Questions" as a single. When he was going at Fat Joe, he was releasing watered down versions of "Lean Back" by dropping "Candy Shop" and "Just A Lil' Bit" as singles. People look at Massacre as a weak and even wack album because of the singles, but some of his best work is on that album.

. Aint nobody getting hype for those old 50 songs no more. The hype and aura at the time made those songs better than they were. Hes ruined that by being a clown. Sure T.I has been moving goofy in recent years,but his catalogue is actually great and stands on its own
