50 was actually a dope artist and lyricist. He was his own worst enemy artistically because he sacrifice art for commerce. He was out here really making watered down versions of the songs from artists he was beefing with. When he was going at Ja, he had "21 Questions" as a single. When he was going at Fat Joe, he was releasing watered down versions of "Lean Back" by dropping "Candy Shop" and "Just A Lil' Bit" as singles. People look at Massacre as a weak and even wack album because of the singles, but some of his best work is on that album.

We talking about a verzus battle and realistically 50 is way more aggressive as a shyt talker. In between songs 50 will out shyt talk TI. FACTS. I can see 50 right before his song plays his dj will instead play that snitch psa of TI going "Let me tell you about another tip" and then going "oops wrong record" followed by that infamous evil smirk. I can see 50 doing that at least 3 times during a verzus battle.

And you're still discounting T.I. In a live setting, a lot of those T.I. songs are far more anthemic than many of 50's songs. And LOL at the songs you bolded being the only reliable T.I. songs. This is false. None of 50's crossover songs are grimey. "Wanksta" is close, but it still has gloss on it. "In Da Club" is not grimey. "21 Questions" definitely isn't grimey. You definitely stanning now to the point of delusion.

They aren't his more popular songs, but would work better than his most popular songs in a Verzuz. And one could argue that those four songs are among his most popular songs regardless of chart position. Outside of "In Da Club" and maybe "21 Questions", those may just be his most popular songs.
