This. He's arguing a pragmatist approach in the way Kaep and team should conduct themselves, while Max and everyone else is arguing for an ideal world that doesn't exist. The average person, let alone black person, in America doesn't get to antagonize an employer and still end up with a job offer. How y'all figure Kaep should be able to pull it off? Because shea butter twitter says so?

And DEFINITELY this.

I boycotted watching the NFL for two years while everyone I know (majority black), continued watching like clockwork. Y'all wanna be up in arms about Stephen A but steady supporting the league that's actively blackballing Kaep? How many of y'all clowning Stephen A, or Jay-Z for that matter, actually took dollars out of the NFLs pockets by not supporting their product?

I've been tired of the Kaep debates man, too many fukkin clowns and hypocrites involved :childplease:
The fakest of the fake post on the coli. Trust and believe that. Once real ones open their eyes they'll know.

Nobody is arguing that point. They don't WANT to sign him. That's the whole point and he knew that going in! BUT they would probably have signed him to a minimum deal somewhere just to lay the issue to rest and score cheap PR. It's like being hired as the token negro at a job. They don't really wanna hire a black person and you know what time it is. Doesnt mean you cant take advantage of the situation if your goal is have a job.

The problem with this is people have used this latest incident to try to discredit Kaep and say he’s only out to be a martyr and doesn’t want to play just because he’s not accepting whatever bullshyt offer the NFL wants to give him.

At the end of the day Kaep wants to play, but he has the resources to say nah if shyt ain’t right (this part right here should be everybody’s dream). If people are tired of the story then it’s the NFL’s fault for blackballing dude in the first place, and bringing it back up now with this shyt show

Quoted for truthiness...

I disagree, but not totally. When I was maybe 7yrs old,I remember an incident where a white girl said that same line about me. Bothered me to my core. Made me look at the world thru CAC- eyes. I realized basically instantly that white people look at us as characters. And we either fit a mold or we not as black as someone else who does. The average negro also sees the world thru this view, that's because this is America, we are taught what they are taught. And not every black person will experience a nikka wake up moment :francis:
So in my case, I decided to remain myself. I didn't use slang to fit in because I was able to understand the quote/unquote "minstrel show"

So in the case of TO vs SAS, if TO called Steven that because Steve uses big words or because he didn't talk "street" then I would of had a huge problem with TO's actions. In this case, he was only stating a fact. Max's views more often than Steven A's align with the plights of African Americans. I understand your position, I've heard it before, I don't feel what TO did empowers white people to behave in a similar fashion for this reason. If a white person is down with the cause then they already know better. The ones who are not will use literally anything against you. So what's worse, what Steven A does possibly 5 days a week or a single segment where Steve gets checked.... hence why I don't agree with you completely
I can respect this viewpoint. Pos rep, breh

The problem with Stephen A, and T.O’s MAIN point was that he gets on the air and he sounds like he’s attacking Kaepernick. It’s his TONE. It’s similar to how he gets on black athletes who get in trouble for smoking weed. Most people will feel like they shouldn’t get punished for weed anyway because it’s a dumb rule, while Stephen A is coming from the standpoint of don’t fukk up the bag for weed. Even if he’s right about that, as a media person, he’s in a position to be an advocate where instead of admonishing the player for weed, he should he saying how stupid and harsh the rule is.

I feel like there’s different levels of c00ning. Some c00ns hate being black. Some c00ns long for white admiration. I don’t think Stephen A is either. Stephen A is the scared c00n. He’s fully aware of racism, but refuses to ruffle any feathers. Instead of trying to destroy the system, he would rather try to navigate through a fukked up system.
i dont think stephen A is a c00n
ppl throw that word around way too much
what hes saying isnt being a c00n, its a different perspective from someone who has had direct contact with kaep's camp leading up to the situation.

he's pretty much sayin kaep coulda dealt with it more professional, there'smerit to that. i personally like the way he set everything up and pulled a fast one on those tryin to pull a fast one on him.

but if he was lookin to get a job, doing that the way he did didnt bring him any closer to that

SAS had a problem with Kaepernick way before the workout. Youtube is your friend.
