Like you said about Roy Thabeet last year right :mjlol:?

Fucc Roy Hibbert I'm still tryna figure out how he made 2 all star squads and stayed being considered a top 3 post defender in the NBA during his Indiana stint smfh

I told ya'll years ago the Lakers are in a dark era now. Their fall from grace is hilarious.
years ago? lol. what year was this? the year that kobe got hurt? the year after the nixed trade? thats not foresight. thats obvious

do we have to do this every year? the lakers have been in a dark era before. yes it was real dark. no star players on the team at all. NON. during the 90's. during the dream shake era, during the jordan era, during the barkley era, during the gp and kemp era, malone and stockton finals appearance era, during the penny and shaq era. the lakers were trash. and that was under a more forgiving cba and with less teams. seattle had a team, no team was in OK, and no team was in new orleans back then.

so this aint new. you cant win forever. anyone thinking otherwise has no idea how this works.

The Lakers are just like the Clippers use to be :mjlol:
wrong

the clippers spent decades getting top pick after top pick. letting them leave or trading them away to someone else after the player grew into a baller. all to save cash.

the clippers are still the clippers. have they been in the finals? NOPE. thank you very much. with all those supposed good players. they still cant get to the finals. what a shame. cant even get to to the WCf's.

a younger team in gstate has surpassed them. awful.

and the nba stole our player and basically gave him to the clippers(cp3 deal.)

Jim and Jeanie both need to be gone. Give the franchise to the younger kids or sell it to Magic
nope. magic is too emotional. he will make emotional moves. just like the reason why jeanie wasnt put in charge of the basketball part by her own father. she's too emotional about it. and that will cloud your judgement. jim is more like his father than most would admit. he isnt all up in the media. and the media hates him for that. even though thats just like his dad.

When Dwight left.
like i said thats not foresight. that was obvious. if dwight would've stayed and kobe still got hurt. you do realize the lakers would've been a 9th seed at best. dwight aint good enough to take a team in the western conf to the playoffs by himself. especially not after the back issues.

Seriously breh? Dont blame the Lakers blame the fact that its all about making smart moves and having foresight and discipline rather than market and bright lights and "this guy used to play here". :mjlol:

Its time to let the CP3 trade go breh. If Dwight couldnt handle Kobe he damn sure couldnt handle them both. Beyond that a $50 mil backcourt with one guy that is 6 feet and the other that is 35 and they both want the ball and are stubborn as fukk doesnt sound like the recipe for a contender. Maybe CP3 would make yall more attractive now. Then again he did damn near run Jordan off last year :yeshrug:.

When Al Davis died the Raiders suffered. Dr. Buss dies, the Lakers suffer.
silly. AL davis raiders were taking L's way before davis died. dont try to make a bad correlation. it doesnt correlate.

So it proved the raiders were sucking during Al's run. but if i take into account doc buss had a good solid decade and change where he sucked/didnt win either. sucked for a while. then was getting bounced by a lesser utah team in the first round.

thats right, the same great doc buss didnt when every year either. he had droughts too.

again you're showing that you have no understand of what i speak on.

Explain to me how is it not a smart move to make a move to get chris paul, knowing you had dwight in the bag to rebuild and reload with older kobe on his way out? you get rid of the lesser aging guys(gasol/odom) and save 10million in the process. thats by far the smartest move i have ever seen a FO make. name one better? You can't.

The cavs lol. lebron is their GM now. The heat? i like pat riley and he is a top tier gm. But lets be real about. bron and wade and bosh did that. not pat riley. where's the smart moves? there arent any. no need. when you have the best player on the planet colluding with his homies. anyone can win rings that way.

gstate made a couple of moves but lets be real about that come up. your main 3 ballers are draft picks. how is that possible? you sucked for decades upon decades. the last time they had a team worth watching was when Chris mullin was playing. and i like the warriors. this is just the reality of it.

what great moves have the thunder made? they got steven adams and some help. but at the end of the day. they've been to the finals......>ONCE. and who are best players? DRAFT PICKS. how did that happen? They were seattle post GP/kemp, meaning they sucked, ray allen leaves, kd is there. they still sucked, they moved to OK..they still sucked for years. here comes westbrook. they still suck. then they grow up. and bam balling. james harden was a pick too. because they sucked for so long. so was ibaka.

Your current favorite teams are not making great gm moves. they are taking L's for decades stock piling rookies until something pops. then they become good. you see minny? i like them too now. but how did they get that squad full of young ballers?they sucked before kg and marbury..sucked again right before kg left for boston. and has sucked up until recently. thats been a minute. of being a bad team.

portland has for the most part always been solid. but never good enough. they havent seen the finals since clyde the glide.

houston hasnt look like much really since the dream called it quits. but i'll give them a slight pass due to yao's injury. they actually TRIED to do something over there. but even yao was a draft pick. but at least they had to have some foresight to draft yao.

most of these gm's aint that good fellas. they dont have any foresight. they are as good as yall are on this board running your mouths. they havent done anything of note. they suck and draft, suck and draft. but guess what they were doing this BEFORE THE CBA changed. What was the knicks excuse pre new cba?????? they sucked since pat ewing took off the knee braces and retired. bad decision after bad decision over there.

The lakers got a raw deal that is still affecting them right now. so you can't "just let the cp3 deal go" its still affecting the lakers right now. its like telling black people let go of the idea that slavery existed. it still affects black folks RIGHT NOW. so i'm still going to say it today.

That nixed deal has never happened to a team before. its something unheard of. you can't expect a team to all of a suddden bounce back from that. but guess what. jim and mitch tried to. the got nash(who was old but had a nice season the year before he came over. who knew he would break down with one bump of the knee???)

those kinds of moves tells me Jim and mitch know what they hell they are doing. they are so good at it. they needed to be jumped by multiple owners and he head of the nba to stop them from reloading again. you need new rules, multiple owners crying, to slow the lakers down. thats a great FO. not a bad one.

these new teams that are decent today. are only decent NOW because they took L's for so long they can finally put their picks together and make something of themselves as older players.

spurs were thee only team making moves in the old cba and now. and they could do so because their core guys are all around the same age/era when they came in.

Jim Buss Reportedly Told People the Lakers Would Sign Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook

The Los Angeles Lakers have swung and missed (badly) each summer since Jerry Buss passed away three years ago, but that hasn’t stopped Jim Buss from predicting a quick turnaround.

The unpopular part-owner and executive vice president of basketball operations continues to promise a return to glory for the Purple and Gold, but has yet to deliver.

Buss reportedly told people close to the team that the Lakers would land Kevin Durant this summer, with Russell Westbrook joining him in Hollywood in 2017.
