again you're showing that you have no understand of what i speak on.
Explain to me how is it not a smart move to make a move to get chris paul, knowing you had dwight in the bag to rebuild and reload with older kobe on his way out? you get rid of the lesser aging guys(gasol/odom) and save 10million in the process. thats by far the smartest move i have ever seen a FO make. name one better? You can't.
The cavs lol. lebron is their GM now. The heat? i like pat riley and he is a top tier gm. But lets be real about. bron and wade and bosh did that. not pat riley. where's the smart moves? there arent any. no need. when you have the best player on the planet colluding with his homies. anyone can win rings that way.
gstate made a couple of moves but lets be real about that come up. your main 3 ballers are draft picks. how is that possible? you sucked for decades upon decades. the last time they had a team worth watching was when Chris mullin was playing. and i like the warriors. this is just the reality of it.
what great moves have the thunder made? they got steven adams and some help. but at the end of the day. they've been to the finals......>ONCE. and who are best players? DRAFT PICKS. how did that happen? They were seattle post GP/kemp, meaning they sucked, ray allen leaves, kd is there. they still sucked, they moved to OK..they still sucked for years. here comes westbrook. they still suck. then they grow up. and bam balling. james harden was a pick too. because they sucked for so long. so was ibaka.
Your current favorite teams are not making great gm moves. they are taking L's for decades stock piling rookies until something pops. then they become good. you see minny? i like them too now. but how did they get that squad full of young ballers?they sucked before kg and marbury..sucked again right before kg left for boston. and has sucked up until recently. thats been a minute. of being a bad team.
portland has for the most part always been solid. but never good enough. they havent seen the finals since clyde the glide.
houston hasnt look like much really since the dream called it quits. but i'll give them a slight pass due to yao's injury. they actually TRIED to do something over there. but even yao was a draft pick. but at least they had to have some foresight to draft yao.
most of these gm's aint that good fellas. they dont have any foresight. they are as good as yall are on this board running your mouths. they havent done anything of note. they suck and draft, suck and draft. but guess what they were doing this BEFORE THE CBA changed. What was the knicks excuse pre new cba?????? they sucked since pat ewing took off the knee braces and retired. bad decision after bad decision over there.
The lakers got a raw deal that is still affecting them right now. so you can't "just let the cp3 deal go" its still affecting the lakers right now. its like telling black people let go of the idea that slavery existed. it still affects black folks RIGHT NOW. so i'm still going to say it today.
That nixed deal has never happened to a team before. its something unheard of. you can't expect a team to all of a suddden bounce back from that. but guess what. jim and mitch tried to. the got nash(who was old but had a nice season the year before he came over. who knew he would break down with one bump of the knee???)
those kinds of moves tells me Jim and mitch know what they hell they are doing. they are so good at it. they needed to be jumped by multiple owners and he head of the nba to stop them from reloading again. you need new rules, multiple owners crying, to slow the lakers down. thats a great FO. not a bad one.
these new teams that are decent today. are only decent NOW because they took L's for so long they can finally put their picks together and make something of themselves as older players.
spurs were thee only team making moves in the old cba and now. and they could do so because their core guys are all around the same age/era when they came in.
What part of this proves how the Lakers aren't historically bad (for them) right now? My man compared the CP3 trade being vetoed to slavery
. Okay that lets me know what I am dealing with here (like the long rambling posts should have). Go ahead and cook breh :hubiebrownsmiley:.

...its like it was meant just for the Lakers...
