My pops was just diagnosed with lung cancer.
He's only 53 but about 8 years ago he was diagnosed with left ventricle heart failure, and now he has lung cancer.
I know for a fact he could have taken better care of himself, and he wouldn't be in this predicament. He's a old school skeptical ass dude, never went to the doctor smoked and drank probably everyday for the last 30 years. He had a physical job, but didn't really work out outside of work. Even after he was diagnosed with heart failure he didn't stop drinking and smoking. Last night while having our "Be strong, take care of your family conversation" he was smoking the entire time.
So on Monday we find out if they can just cut the cancer out or if he will need chemo.
Moral of the story is take care of yourself. Especially those of us getting up there towards 30. Get your regular checkups, eat healthy, live long
