There is nothing normal about homicide being the leading cause of males between the age of 14-45.

12% of a population making up 60% of homicide victims should be alarming to everyone.

You can pinpoint to whatever cause you wish, but nothing about the above stats should be treated as just the way things are.
Fools will come with the tired "proximity" argument to normalize it and say that since we are around each other so much, these numbers are understandable, then they'll throw in some other bullshyt that would absolve any accountability.

Blacks are like under 10 percent of the population in Canada but make up like 60 percent of the nation wide homicides :snoop:

I remember hearing about a Drake associate getting killed in a lobby or elevator a while ago. It shocked me at the time, but then I'd hear about more and more killings up there

That isn't Hip-Hop culture.
Your post reeks dishonesty.

Smino, a dude with 5 million listeners just dropped a record about being an everyman.

You are nowhere to be found.

You are not a Hip-Hop fan.

I'm tempted to call you a fraud with an axe to grind.
Smino don’t get play among urban youth.

I’m dead ass tired of these disingenous points.

Stop being sensitive and taking critiques and concern as this attack on hip-hop culture.

Saw Migos three times in concert and each show they had dramatically improved as live performers.
Didn’t feel that Culture 2 and some of their side projects were of the same standard as previous work but Culture 3 and Infinity Links had me right back on board.
Don’t think it’s too presumptuous to say a reconciliation would occur and it’s just really hard to come to terms with never hearing another freshly recorded Migos song or seeing them live again. Just tragic.

"Da Culture" cats sound exactly like the kinds of people who shyt on Haiti, Jamaica, any country that isn't remotely successful
in Africa, The Suburbs of France, The Hoods of the UK etc.

Any place where Black folks congregate.

shyt is textbook storm front.

I half expect y'all to start talking about mud huts and superior european technology or something.
Exactly.....everywhere black people reside there will always be situations like Takeoffs situation🤷‍♂️ RIP to the man, very unfortunate situation

J Prince and his son are corny muhfukkas, Jr not built like that but is gassed off the attention of who he is, and dad has been wack for awhile. Violence and dumb shyt follow these guys, they ain't no gatekeepers but Houston nikkas deify these nikkas...

We both know rappers don't "have" to follow these stereotypical codes. The pressure to do so falls back to the issues emblematic of our culture in general...

Man this ain’t 1996, most people in Houston don’t give a fukk about J Prince or Mob Ties

The I in Team
It’s a gun problem to me plain and simple. We have an addiction to guns in this country and easy access allows unstable people to have easy access. The reality is many parts of this world that don’t have guns do not have the same cultural experiences. Most places a disagreement like that results in words, maybe a fistfight, maybe knives come out and in the rarest instance a gun is drawn. Here a gun is drawn 9 times out of 10. Here we are in 2022 with the same mentality of a Wild West gunslinger from 1822.

This problem will never be solved because we ain’t never giving up guns. More rappers will die violently, which is just the norm at the this point. Sad but true.

i am from and live in oakland, yes i've been in asian hoods, no one said they are crime free, i said the homicide rate is lower...killing is not as prevalent

and it's amazing how people don't have time to prove the disconnected points they bring up...
Nah shorty. What’s YOUR point? Are black men more inherently violent than other races? Is that what ur trying to say? Drive it home.
