Hyperion
Superstar
Berseria has a strong beginning, middle and end. That isn’t easy to do for a story that could hit 30+ hours.
The characters were people and evolved past their stereotypes within a few hours.
The main plot twist made you AND Velvet lean back, questioning everything. Then you get hit rapid fire with revelations AFTER that.
If a game’s story gives a satisfactory emotional payoff at the end, it did good in my eyes.
This was worth it
Velvet is on my list of top tier protagonists
The voice work for the entire cast
Honorable mention for Laphecet![]()
Glad to hear it.
I just got to where we left the island with Dyle, so Artorius most likely knows Velvet broke out of the clink. Rokurou is a real one. He asked who Artorius was, Velvet explained and the only thing he said was, "Let's go, our mission awaits." It's super early still, but that dude is great.
all goons. everybody rides,everybody eats
i u played zestiria before then the call backs/connections are
u basically playing the opposite side of the force on this side in comparison to zestiria . Great narrative and am not even done yet, yet i feel both the villain and the protagonist are really not "good"

I need to play this ASAP but AC odyssey just won’t end
its lit
I don't want any spoilers, but I definitely feel like there's so much more to her than it seems and it definitely feels implied that it's the case.

nice ending the connection to zestria, maltelous, lord of calamity, flames of purification.
with vesperia the only real annoying thing is the last boss, smh u might need to be in the 80s to beat that sob
