Yeah there was a venue in the City that partnered with Stonesthrow to do a monthly event and Madlib was supposed to do more than a few of those sets. It never happened it was always Egon and friends (cacs). Madlib missed the first date and they said he didn't make it to the airport then the second month it was we can't get a hold of him. So they were using his name to book gigs in Toronto and then that clown Egon showing up trying to play an eclectic sets and it was straight up horrible. I paid money for that shyt too a couple times both times to see Madlib.

The bar was called Wrong Bar. This was probably around 2012 ish after a few no shows the whole thing got bushed.

I was told by my homeboy from London who was running with Doom and Lucien a few years ago. Basically he kept upping his demands and I think there was something to do with some expensive records too.

I know a couple of people who have released records on NowAgain as well, but never heard them talk about him.
