That's not how it goes and you know that, least of all in the NFL.
I think Evans has another 2-3 years left of high level production. The problem with not signing him is, what else are you going to do on offense?
Mike is literally the entire offense with a splash of Rachaad White. They can’t afford to let him walk away now… their hands are tied, because this team has way too many holes to draft a receiver that isn’t Harrison Jr. early.
Bucs will have some cap space next year, and I’m sure at this current juncture they already know who they are cutting ties with and who’s getting paid. Devin White & Shaq Barrett are done here, Jensen will be released & retire, CD3 will be on his last year & they can move him…
Wirfs, Winfield, & Evans will get the bag. Wirfs could possibly get franchise tagged… & they might beg Lavonte to come back for 1 final 1 year deal and have SirVocea Dennis under his wing until they’re able to draft his replacement the following season in 2025.

Do you think that’s what he’s going to produce? My point is that even if he declined by a noticeable margin, he’d be at some amazing numbers. Does he look like he’s still got it physically?
We don't know what he's going to produce, but he's entering the stage where WRs slow down.
Upon this hypothetical decline, 70/900/7 are amazing numbers? And worth north of 25M/year?

He can't scheme Godwin open. His sequencing makes very little sense. The 2nd and long runs up the gut

He's not good. At all. The good play are so few and far in between.
Too often, it's high-level execution getting it done. We all know baker sucks, but he's not getting from dave
I like what I’ve seen him do as far as getting our offensive linemen in the open field and setting up our RBs to make moves in open space off screens & dump offs
We got a lot of smaller o-linemen (mostly in the interior) that aren’t particularly powerful but are very athletic and can get out there and move
I think they have incrementally improved as the season progresses
