So wait, they're dropping English as the language of instruction and using their so-called "mother tongue" which is supposedly Kiswahili. But Kiswahili is a blend of mostly Arabic and some Bantu. :snoop:

Get rid of one slave language and replace it with another slave language brehs.

Dumb post? :camby: Kiswahili isn't there original language dummy. Read a book or do the knowledge and get back to me.

A significant fraction of Swahili vocabulary is derived from Arabic through contact with Arabic-speaking Muslim inhabitants of the Swahili Coast. It has also incorporated German, Portuguese, English, Hindi and French words into its vocabulary through contact with empire builders, traders and slavers during the past five centuries.

Like many Africans, their "original" language was removed by colonists and invaders. So although they're making positive steps by getting rid of a language given to them by British colonists, the language (Kiswahili) was given to them by other outsiders.

Swahili is natively spoken by Africans and is the national language of Tanzania. You do your research. Nobody enslaved the Tanzanians and forced them to speak Swahili, thats the lingua franca of that region

It wasn't their language before the Arabs came thru. How you're gonna tell me when Africans no longer have their languages or gods. They worship a White Jesus in the continent breh. The language they speak outside of English aint theirs, I've done my research.....do the knowledge

What the fukk are you not understanding?? When the Muslims traded on the Eastern coast of Africa, they changed the language.

The word swahili is derived from Arabic, sawahili (a plural adjectival form of an Arabic word meaning "of the coast")

Its called loan words dumbass. Swahili is still African, it was historically a trade language that has gained prestige.

African but not Tanzania's original dialect or language.

As in the Middle East, in Africa the Arabic language preceded Islamization. Acclimatization to the use of Arabic brought about commercial profits and preceded religious conversions. Where the Sahara married the Sahel (a region between the Sahara in the North and the Sudan savannas in the south), two worlds solidified through language and trade. By the eleventh century, an African trading expansion, with an emerging religious culture and the common commercial language of Arabic, became apparent. Conversion meant access to a wider platform of goods, traditional trade routes to the east, credit lines, adjusted pricing, and honor. Tauregs (the nomadic Berber people of the Saharan interior of North Africa) roamed both sides of the great divide, linguistically best equipped to profit from the crossroads of trade, and mediate differences between northern Saharans and sub-Saharans.

Swahili literature began as the literature of coastal and Indian Ocean Muslims. Early Swahili was written in Arabic script and often drew upon earlier texts in Arabic.

Everywhere...You never there.
The american dollar and euro are not backed by anything.
Africa sits on the largest reserves of gold and diamonds. If africa had a centralized bank, and backed a unified currency with gold, it would crush the monopoly money that US and europe plays with.

Can't believe this was just overlooked. :smh:

If a few countries in Africa had any semblance of heavy, geopolitical clout... :banderas:

You guys are dreaming too much...:wow:

Again, Google Lumumba, Sankara, ancient president of their
country. They wanted to do exactly as you told... not lived long enough for that. :wow:

Lately Gbagbo ancient president of Ivory Coast, wanted to create a money for his country, was

about to game over the debt of his country, hope of real independence...... and was physically stopped with his family, alive but full time in court justice for alleged dictatorship presidence until today.:mjcry:

The actual president of Ivory Coast as his first decision for the country, decided to take a loan

of 44 billions euro breaking everything done for the autonomy, hope of a country.:snoop:

....he got no problem with Uno.:sas1:

They realize that and figure they have nothing to lose so may as well go for it..being an English speaking country for a generation has obviously not worked, right?..

You say they are poor. Perhaps it is difficult for them to perform business and be confident in a language that is not their own and they do not want to own. Pride and dignity strengthens you to not take shyt, thats why Europeans insisted on native peoples abandoning your mothers tongue in favor of theirs. To take away your pride and sense of worth so they can control you and gain access to your resources..

once again, people underestimate the true power of language..

Breh you can't be serious.

I met a chick from Tanzania. We were working on a project together. She was relatively petite with a monstrous ass. She was kinda conservative so she was always covered up. But that thang was poking out something serious.

I think its dope that they are getting rid of English from schools. First step of freeing yourself of the colonizers ideologies.
You talking about 'azz for days'.

I am. It has been shown African kids perform better at school being taught in their vernacular..or better yet go tell a Tanzanian to put a European language first and maybe you'll understand then. As an American you speak one language, barely two in rare cases. Africans speak numerous languages, so they understand language and its politics better than you, and if they say they are done with English after a couple generations of experience with it who are you to question them?
You just want the whole world speaking english. If people are eager to do business with them, then learn a bit of their language for a change rather than the old way of hiding behind the convenience of colonialism.
