That's exactly where they are fukking up, but more and more kids are starting to repeat phrases and ideas they don't even understand. People are substituting gender identity for actual personal growth and establishing an identity based on interests.

Gen Z and younger are in a rush to label THEMSELVES with mental illnesses or marginalized status. You ask people who they are and they tell you they're queer or bipolar or plus size or on the autism spectrum instead of what they believe in, what they aspire to become in the context of humanity at large(doctor, designer, musician etc.) what makes them happy, what they want out of life or what makes it worth living.

These companies are stupid as hell and think they can just sell that shyt to children instead of just doing what has worked for generations which is to sell them shyt based off what they choose to enjoy like sports, music, art, games, etc. Instead of demographic data.

Being gay or whatever isn't a personality. shyt is the result of overworked parents letting social media raise their kids.

This is the crux of the issue, and it will never get solved because the parents that engage in this shyt use their bullshyt activist social media posts as a substitute to actually spending time with their kids. My parents were overworked, but still made time to engage with me and my siblings, which in turn showed me that it is worth it to do the same with my kid. All these parents celebrating that they got a faceless organization to drop a harmless, pandering clothes line will now think they have done enough, lol. I could care less if Target closes tomorrow and a bunch of rich ass board members/stock holders lose everything, matter fact, I would prefer it. Does the vitriol against LGBTQ+ people bother me, yes, does ignorance towards these folks that just want to exist bother me, yes, do I care that a company that doesn’t do shyt but try to make money off of pandering to everybody fukking goes bankrupt, fukk no! These same parents don’t have this energy towards gun manufacturers, and those people actually have a hand in killing their fukking kids while they learn at school, lololololol, oh well, guess that’s okay!

A few years ago I went to buy some underwear and when I got to the men’s section, I felt like I walked into a rainbow. It felt weird to be honest. I remember thinking and complaining how black history month didn’t receive anywhere close in terms of attention. Neither did Women’s, Hispanic or Asian appreciation months.

It’s too much to be honest and this is coming from an ally to their movement.
