Isn't this the same forum that uses the acronym PAWG to praise white wimmenz for features that black women have always had?

I resent the idea that black people aren't allowed to have "fun" or enjoy ourselves in public. I think it's a mindset that's difficult to get rid of because we face so many daily attrocities I.e. racism, underemployment, over incarceration, etc. So there's this undrlying idea that we aren't entitled to fun until all our woes r resolved. But that's an unfair burden to place on someone. Black ppl are just as entitled to have to a good time as anyone else. We can laugh, joke, dance, goof off, be loud and silly as we see fit and regardless of whose around. Who is this guy or anyone else to take away or condemn someone for trying to have a good time. The pursuit of happiness is a human and God given right and black ppl deserve that just as much as anybody else, if not more.

I was thinking about that too, I remember seeing it on twitter. Every tweet, the black chicks was focused on the white dude, it's like the brothers were invisible :mindblown:
Black women aren't required to pursue black men over white men, or even acknowledge them over white men. Black women's bodies and attractions belong to them and them along. Get away from this idea that you have "dibs" on the black woman's sexuality or that she can/should only pursue a non black after the black man has given her permission

:what: Who said any of that? The point of the post goes along with the point of the thread. If a black person and a white person is doing anything similar remotely positive amongst the black community, black folks go into a trance when it comes to the white person. Keep the bedwench rhetoric outta this

It's the "novelty" and white savior complex which is why I agree with Malcolm X, in saying that the best way for white folks to help us is to do nothing. Allow us to help ourselves, when they interfere we get situations and debates like this. If they really wanted to help, they would help by pouring money into the community. Investing in black businesses, providing grants and scholarships to black schools.

Black people need to see black faces in positions of power and authority. The reason a lot of people don't support black business ventures is that subconsciously they think that it is not as good as white businesses. We have black fashion designers, black banks, black schools, black people in tons of different fields but what we need is black supporters. Black kids in the hood who rarely seen successful black businesses or successful black people in their area, do not think that it is possible for them to become successful. Representation is very very important.
