I can make the argument that they've been out of their prime that long. How long has Rakim or Kane been out they prime. Who cares. Its Ihe impact u made. And Eminem made a huge impact over the span of his career.

And lets not act like he's not still capable of entertaining.

U big up 3stacks, how long has it been since he dropped anything that was dope?

Music is subjective. What I like u may hate and vice versa.

Rakim and kane created modern rap with their influence thats their impact

eminem had zero impact other than on Pop charts and his cult fanbase of cacs are you serious

Eminem contributed zero to the advancement of rap and he steals rhyme schemes from old school songs and pass them off as his own like that rap god song

fukk outta here, he's wack, name one classic song from his prime then, he has none

the slim shady LP isn't even listenable today, are you serious, he got singles the real slim shady that sound a clown car pulling up thats literally how the beat sounds

fukk outta here

I like Eminem, I take points away from him solely on his subject matter. Skill wise(actual talent), good luck finding 10-15 mcs that were better than Marshall in his prime.
Big
Nas
Jigga
G Rap
Pun
Kane
Rakim
3 Stacks
Ghost
Cube

10...easy, and that straight off the top of my head quick tings

now fucc out my face, all 10 of those mc's spitting primes were>>>>>em's

they all made better music in their respective primes too to boot :banderas:

lmao jay-z impact on the game is underestimated, but when you the top dawg you will not get credit just like floyd, when any other fighter with his resume would have statues built of him.

Jay-z was competing with dmx, cash money, etc when he finally took over he took over, even when nas ethered him did not slow his career down one bit he had too many hits. When dropped that dynasty album he changed the sound of hip hop, just blaze and kanye, i mean every producer every rapper was copying that rocafella sound. when he dropped the blueprint, everybody tried to copy that sound and formula, everybody had the speed up soul samples wasn'te ven doing the shyt right like this garbage fat joe song

THE ENTIRE RAP GAME COPIED THIS nikka STYLE

From street nikkaz, to lame nikkaz, to new nikkaz, to conscious backrap nikkaz

It's not up from dispute

AIN'T NOBODY EVER TRY TO SOUND LIKE EMINEM OR MAKE SONGS LIKE HIM, EVER

Lil wayne worshipped this nikka Jay-Z and tried to emulate him, when he was getting biggger

Kaney West, had more important on the game than Eminem

Drake, J Cole, Wale, Wiz Khalifa, none of these nikkaz would've had a lane or a career if it wasn't for Kanye West, he literally changed the landscape from hip hop

where you can from rappers like beanie sigel and cam being the standard to nikkaz who don't rap about shyt because they never had interesting lives so they don't have shyt to rap about lmao

Lose Yourself is a classic lmao, since when? That type of battle rap depicted in the song doesn't even exist anymore so how did impact the culture when nobody followed it

Stan? lmao, Stan is a prime example of Eminem's best music, it's a period piece, its only relevant in it's time it was released, without that context it loses what is good about it, if somebody who was alive from Eminem's rise and the media phenom he became, the song will not be relevant and will lose its meaning, because it's not reflective of today's society, where the stans are twitter and instagram. It's not a classic

You play california love, everybody will vibe even if they never heard before, or wasn't born when it came out, it still sounds good, its a classic

If you play Know the ledge by Rakim has loud you can, It won't sound fukking stupid, you can't do that with any of Eminem's songs sorry

Jay-z was never the tippy top guy in the game though. DMX was bigger in 98-99. Em was bigger 00-02. 50 was bigger in 03

Jay-Z released an album every year none of them other guys didn't that's why jay-z was bigger.

Eminem never had club hits his songs we never even played on the Rap Radio station, all his songs were played on the Pop stations you moron, he was never bigger than Jay-z in rap ever at any point of time, he was a pop artist and he was marketed as such

Blueprint was the biggest album when it was released what are you talking about, the had the nikka on unplugg MTV and all the shyt

the bet awards allowed him to debut his new sing on the show lmao

You live in a fantasy world

I ain't talking about album sells you fool, if that case Nelly bigger than Biggie ever was, yall clowns never been outside, that's why I can't take your opinions serious

50 was hot from one album, it was off the hype of being shot and eminem stans buying his album

Nobody ever tried to emulate 50 cent's style, nobody wanted to be eminem, 50 cent, or nelly they wanted to be jay-z, this is just a fact
