The first HC cost 40K to make (He raised 20K and spent 20K of his own money on it). He spent all of that making the movie.
How much is he supposed to by his dozens of guests in the film? AND cover everything else it costs to make the film?

Tariq himself paid dues by doing TV shows for $1000. He even said that notorious MTV episode on him trying to help this guy with his dating lifestyle paid him $1000. All of that for ONE GRAND.

However...Tariq said in another ustream that several people in the films have said their own businesses have picked up from being in Hidden Colors and Tariq put a lot of money in THEIR pockets. Black business stories are thriving thanks to Tariq. Black conferences have a new reinforced vigor. Black history and scholars are getting a new limelight and profile.
