Tariq Nasheed fans, how do y'all explain him completely stopping talking about reparations now Trump is in office?

you are going in circles
you brought up xenophobic and hate
I replied and said there is no hate here. We just love the country and want to protect it from outsiders
you replied with the whole God, religion, heaven and hell stuff
I replied with u must want open borders (so, if that’s not what u meant = how was i or others that co-sign with me on this topic - supposed to take what you said about ( God, religion, heaven, and hell? )
The fact that you got this from that just shows that you don't have any comprehension skills whatsoever. That might be the root of your problem. You don't listen. You only hear what you want to hear, and you assume the rest. Nothing I stated to you was complex or difficult to understand, but when someone is stubborn. It's like talking to a brick wall.

Either he's beyond stupid or he was actually down with the Trump agenda.

I wouldn't think he was down with what Trump wants to do just for his own purposes. Might have been motivated by personal gain. That's all I got cause I think he's smarter than a fifth grader.

so this is what you do when you’re losing a discussion = you start insulting people

calling me, stubborn and saying I don’t have comprehension skills .. literally does nothing to further on the discussion.
I simply asked you a simple question of what did you mean when you bought God, religion, heaven and hell into this topic

No one is insulting you. Saying you aren't listening and are being stubborn is based on your behavior and actions.

:snoop: what behavior and actions are you talking about?

And for the third or fourth time, I’m asking you what did you mean when you bought in God, religion, heaven, and hell in this conversation

Bro leading his followers straight to hell. 1 minute into his grift speech, he shuns tradition, which the Bible speaks against. He's funny with the assumed West African accent, that's ultimately just softing you up to allow anything to be said as he doesn't have any real backing.

This is why Tariq supporters really can't understand how to defend him, because Tariq cannot defend himself. Jokes and accents might soften your audience but it's terrible when you are trying to make a justification with a neutral observer. This is truly just a funny man, Rush Limbaugh. I get why is difficult to be a Tariq supporter. It's the Rush Limbaugh supporter conundrum. We are just trying to take back our country, you can't say we are lying. We have proven that Obama is Barry Soetoro and he's from Kenya and raised in the Philippines. We have the truth! Michael Obama is born a man. Instead of that, it's we are taking back our culture. nikka, isn't one of your claims, them saying you don't have no culture? Bro somehow tried to tie the word grifting into a comparison to CONTELPRO? It's stuff like this that just slides past his followers, but anyone with sense is looking like, WHAT!

Let's research the word, grifter -
  1. a person who engages in petty or small-scale swindling.
"I saw him as a grifter who preys upon people"
Why does this word constantly come up with Tariq Nasheed?

Exploiting real grievances for profit - Nasheed takes legitimate concerns about racism and discrimination that his audience genuinely experiences, then monetizes these emotions through book sales, documentaries, and donations. Rather than channeling these concerns toward constructive solutions, he perpetuates division because ongoing conflict keeps his audience engaged and paying.

Manufacturing false enemies for engagement - By creating antagonism between African Americans and African/Caribbean immigrants, he's essentially inventing conflicts that generate passionate responses, clicks, and financial support. This divisive content keeps followers emotionally invested and coming back for more, which directly benefits his business model.

Using entertainment to bypass critical thinking - The comedy and memes aren't just communication tools - they're sales tactics that make people less likely to fact-check or question his claims. When people are laughing or entertained, they're more susceptible to accepting questionable information, which allows him to build a loyal customer base without having to provide rigorous evidence.

Preying on educational gaps - Rather than genuinely educating his audience, he exploits their lack of access to comprehensive historical education to sell simplified, emotionally satisfying narratives. This creates dependency - followers rely on him for "truth" rather than developing critical thinking skills that might lead them to question his claims.

Emotional dependency creation - By positioning himself as the sole source of "real" information about Black identity and history, he creates a parasitic relationship where followers become emotionally and intellectually dependent on his content, ensuring continued financial support regardless of accuracy.

The grift lies in monetizing pain without providing genuine healing or solutions.

Tariq likes to use words like facts when just stating opinions or feelings, where no facts can be gathered. Then, when he does feel attacked, called out for potentially scamming his audience, he tries to throw it back with loaded assumptions (They like to throw their scams (money, etc) at us (his audience)). This is what Tariq does more than anything: makes loaded assumptions while using an insult. He doesn't just call them out by name, but he has to give them a negative name (tethers, musty, etc.) This is the part where his followers who fall into his abyss are trapped in and cannot weasel their way out of it because the truth is, Tariq wouldn't if he didn't have his platform to push his false narratives. Tariq claims he's taking power and he's the truth in this, but in reality, very little, if any, truth has been stated by Mr. Nasheed. Just loaded assumptions, terrible opinions, and emotional diarrhea for his supporters to choke and swallow on.

"Grifter" isn't just a rhetorical criticism; it's a specific term with a concrete meaning. A grifter is someone who runs confidence schemes to defraud people of money through deception.

Here's why Nasheed fits the literal definition of a grifter:

Confidence scheme structure - He builds trust by positioning himself as an authority on Black history and identity, then uses that manufactured credibility to sell products (books, documentaries, courses) based on false or misleading information. This follows the classic con artist pattern of establishing trust, then exploiting it financially.

Deliberate deception for profit - The anti-African/Caribbean content and historical misrepresentations aren't just mistakes - they appear to be intentionally false narratives designed to generate emotional reactions that translate into sales. He's selling fiction as fact for money.

Dependency creation for ongoing fraud - Like any good grifter, he doesn't just want one-time customers. He creates psychological dependency by making followers believe they need his "exclusive knowledge" to understand their identity and history, ensuring repeat purchases and donations.

Targeting vulnerable populations - Classic grifters prey on people's hopes, fears, and insecurities. Nasheed specifically targets people dealing with racial trauma and identity questions, exploiting their genuine need for understanding and community for financial gain.

No legitimate product delivery - Unlike legitimate educators or activists, he doesn't deliver actual historical accuracy, genuine solutions, or constructive outcomes. His "product" is manufactured outrage and false certainty, not real knowledge or progress.

This isn't opinion, it's fraud with extra steps, wrapped in racial rhetoric.

Tariq's fake African accent be killing me...

"You used to talk about macking Neega". "And now you talking about History".

"Youza Griftah"!

:mjlol:
It's hilarious. You neega! He is a funny guy. I can't take that away from him. Letterman didn't hire him for no reason. God gave that man a gift of comedy and speech. He can talk his ass off, and he is truly hilarious. Sadly, he allowed satan to lead him astray and he's bringing as many people along with him who are stupid enough to join.

I hope you also condemn Africans when their being divisive. The same way you condemn Tariq.
