Tariq Nasheed fans, how do y'all explain him completely stopping talking about reparations now Trump is in office?

Some of you guys give Tariq too much credit and free advertisement. He is a grifter. His message changes based on what will bring in the money. Nothing more, nothing less.

As for immigration. Legal immigration is not the problem. It is illegal immigration that has been causing a downward pressure on wages in certain industries. I have put up reports to congress and economic studies that prove and support this claim. If you want to pish posh it, well that is your perogative.

My take overall is that Black Americans should be worried about our issues, just like everyone else really only worries about theirs. If we have common gournd, then we can work together. If our goals do not align, then we should focus on our goals even at the detriment of other groups' goals.
"Illegal immigration" (a dubious classification at best) is but ONE piece of the damn puzzle. But since it's the most sensational and gets the bigots charged up it's what gets the most play. :mjlol: You won't hear these charlatans bring up NAFTA or USMCA though. That ANY alleged black person could fall for this boggles my mind.

The entire FBA argument up to now has been that we should be worried about the immigrants though :jbhmm:. Because hector and maria are taking all the good paying jobs. And I guess the Africans want to get in on reparations? I can't keep up.
The FBA argument has been that some immigrants have historically undermined Black Americans in this country. This is a fact and can't be disputed.

I'm not sure why you feel the need to keep up with FBA's if you aren't one? Every group should be focused on their community like we're doing. We've decided to put our needs first is all.

Look, I don't give a damn what you think about my position. You have made it clear plenty of times that actual documentation and academic studies will not change your narrative on this issue. So you are completely inconsequential to the discussion of this issue.

When a person outright ingnores well currated stories and actual reports to Congress on an issue, that person is no longer a person who needs to be considered at all about the issue.

Here y'all go with "where ya family from" bullshyt. Stay on topic. I'll never identify as FBA and that's my choice :manny: .

Oh, now this explains why he ignores the actual data and reports. So I know my decision to ignore his position is absolutely the correct one. Thank you.

I agree with you on immigration but my problem with Tariq is that he dumbs down a section of our community that are already ignorant. He dumbs them down even further. I agree with his criticisms of the Demographics on immigration and POC eating off of FBA but him telling Black folks not to vote and him kissing Trumps ass is stupid.
He doesn't dumb them down. He plays on their emotions and just does the Rush Limbaugh and Alex Jones. He basically acts like he's a MK Ultra handler. Just plays with his subject emotions. He drives their opinions with that. Even when I used to listen, I didn't realize how much it negatively impacted me. That's what he does.

What you ageee with is just a part of his emotional diatribe. It's a small bit of truth loaded with a lot of rubbish. Play into the emotional element and ride the wave. This is why Tariq got his ass kicked by a white extremist in Jared Taylor. He doesn't know what he's talking about.

It's not suppose to be justified with logic or data. Just I'm Black and I say so to quote his favorite, I'm white and I say so. This is MK Ultra 101. This is how I know Tariq was in the industry and what his role was. No shock, that some of these shock jocks like Candace Owens and Kim Klacik get their start on Tariq show.

I am on topic. I posed a video with Tariq criticizing Republicans just 2 months ago. You pivoted to asking about FBA when the topic is Tariq. I could care less what anyone thinks if they aren't FBA.

I don’t understand … what has Trump done in the six months since he’s been inaugurated - where you feel Tariq should have given him smoke

And Tariq gives republican's smoke all the time
Tariq doesn't give smoke to the GOP as a group or their overall premise. He gives smoke to individuals and mainly the white extremist like Baked Alaska and em who are valueless.

The white supremacists are the ones who yield power and they are the ones who pay for these types of services. The Baked Alaskas of the world don't have no money.

Both joined his show once to agrue against him. Kim. Multiple times. That's how I even knew about her being from Baltimore and married to a white man. The white supremacists use Tariq to push their agendas. You notice when they were on this BLM tip, they had Tariq and every negro going to Baltimore and Ferguson. Now, you wouldn't catch them nikkas nowhere. The white supremacists is running the Tariq Nasheed show

Tariq is an agent of chaos. The sooner you realize it. The better. The same one paying Tariq is paying Jesse Lee Peterson.

You and I have never held a discussion about this :dahell:. I don't think we've ever even directly spoken except for when I shot you an invite elsewhere so chill lmao. I hardly even post on here. I'd love to see these documents and academic studies though. I also never suggested there wasn't any impact, but relative to things like offshoring, piss poor trade agreements, the erosion of labor protections and automation/mechanization, I think it's clear it serves as chum for the less informed and hateful.

It is in my opinion that we waste too much time arguing with those who are not us anyway. Simply put, outsiders should not have any input in what we discuss about which direction our people should go. Let's be honest, they would not like us interjecting ourselves into thier ethnicity's issues. So we should expect the same consideration. If they can't do that, then we should ignore them and continue to do what we need to do.

Arguments are perfectly fine on these issues within our ethnicity and should be encouraged to find a consensus.

Tariq has influenced the entire online Black political discourse.
