Tariq Nasheed fans, how do y'all explain him completely stopping talking about reparations now Trump is in office?

Tariq literally said fukk the data that Tone and Yvette were using.

He even mad a cartoon about it.
I think I have not made myself clear about my opinion of Tariq. Let me express it this last time. What Tariq says has no effect on what I think at all. I know what he is, I know why he takes positions. I've see how he has changed over years. Tariq's take on any of this is unimportant to me. I am also willing to bet, his take is unimportant to the majority of Black Americans too.

Tariq has influenced the entire online Black political discourse.
For those who take him seriously perhaps. Those of you who hate and love him. I am just willing to bet there are far more who are perfectly apathetic towards him. Many more who are not affected by his positions at all.

When you are focused on particular online spaces, you will get an impression of somethings having more effect than they actually do. You will be in a bubble that you think translate to everyone else, but it really does not.

I am on topic. I posed a video with Tariq criticizing Republicans just 2 months ago. You pivoted to asking about FBA when the topic is Tariq. I could care less what anyone thinks if they aren't FBA.

It is in my opinion that we waste too much time arguing with those who are not us anyway. Simply put, outsiders should not have any input in what we discuss about which direction our people should go. Let's be honest, they would not like us interjecting ourselves into thier ethnicity's issues. So we should expect the same consideration. If they can't do that, then we should ignore them and continue to do what we need to do.

Arguments are perfectly fine on these issues within our ethnicity and should be encouraged to find a consensus.
weak ass ad hominem :mjlol: . i'm actually disappointed because the older brother usually has well reasoned takes, even when I don't agree. oh well.

This site is probably the last place on earth I would have a serious discussion about anything. It's strictly for entertainment purposes only.

If you don't have enough common sense to put your own lineage first. Anything we tell you would be wasted anyway.

Why is he not calling out the white supremacist policies from Stephen Miller and Trump?
I really don’t understand this train of logic. We know republicans are racist. We know republicans don’t support reparations.

Tariq calls out the democrats for being racist because they’re the ones get black people’s vote consistently. Why would republicans support reparations when they don’t get the black vote? Why don’t democrats support reparations when black people are their most loyal voter base?

Honestly, I'm not sure if his memory is fading or if he’s just making shyt up, but there are definitely a few ADoS spaces offline (one that even requires verification) that I know I invited some of you to, and if not me, then others did. So please, stop with this tired "interloper" nonsense.

The FBA argument has been that some immigrants have historically undermined Black Americans in this country. This is a fact and can't be disputed.

I'm not sure why you feel the need to keep up with FBA's if you aren't one? Every group should be focused on their community like we're doing. We've decided to put our needs first is all.
I didn't realize Tariq had such a large non-FBA following until he pivoted towards delineation and calling out “tethers” It’s like they feel betrayed.

These people bring up Tariq nasheed in threads that he has nothing to do with. They collectively have more posts about on Tariq nasheed than his supporters do. In fact, the only time I hear of Tariq is on this site and it’s only from non-FBA posters.

So you push the party in the direction that you want. You don't sit out or entertain open racists :dahell:. Candidates like Nina Turner, Gary Chambers, Hill Harper. Why are they not being supported in predominately black districts? Why is Tariq not signal boosting their messages? Reparations are a legislative issue.

The Tariq obsession is starting to resemble borderline psychotic behavior. Who has another man on their mind this much?
