My goddamn self. Shout out to my real Africans
After this I can see how people are broken...

They refuse to build their own party.

They just keep voting for the hand picked black candidates that the white liberals TELL them to vote for.

shyt is broken.

All they want is symbolism.

All they talk about is voting AGAINST someone (cuz they racist **BOTH PARTIES ARE**) rather than voting FOR anything.

Tomorrow is going to be fun.

I'm looking for folks who want to build our own party from the ground up.

Let the democrats die yall they NEVER going do anything for us.

Amen. I am tired of this shyt and people who think they are political because they vote for lesser of two evils. They don't organize to build black political institutions such as voting blocs/political parties, research and policy think tanks or lobbying groups. They demand nothing for their vote. They don't want to build a political agenda. They are caught in this simple binary that Republicans are bad whites and Democrats are the good whites. Malcolm, Martin, and every fukking Ancestor that put in work has all warned us about the White Liberals and Moderates and all we do is vote and cape for Democrats every fukking election. We make no demands before the election which is asinine. We play this game like we are full fledged White Citizens and not Black folks who face constant terror from the State no matter who is in office, like our collective quality of life is not abysmal. We are relying on the good whites and the symbolic crumbs that they give us. These Black liberals are nothing but hacks and shills for the Democrats and act like they are any different from Black Conservative shills and hacks for the Republicans. We put them first and they put us last.

Then these Black liberals have the nerve to shame Black people into voting when all we do is fukking vote. They never push radical politics or radical political education. Fear and lesser of two evils, the Republicans are bad, are not a fukking political agenda. When do we talk about how do we advance our communities? When will that be our priority. All we want is black faces in high places.

I live in a city where poor black families and children are drinking poisoned, lead water and there is no outrage. But let Trump say anything and nikkas are all vocal. We cant even control local and state officials but think our voices matter in national elections. shyt is laughable. The only time we have made strides is when we have organized our communities around agendas, took radical action. Not sit back and wait for White Liberal Daddy for butter biscuits.

Tariq is both wrong and right.

He's wrong in that he broke his own rule where he will not disparage a fellow black person in public. Wrong to ignore the money and time that John has spent riding for black people. He's not criticizing Lewis with respect, and instead he's clowning this senior like he's his equal. That's petty hoe-ass single mother energy that is unmanly and pathetic to see from someone who is all about masculinity and mature boss energy.

Tariq is right in the sense that Lewis is used as a pawn to advance the rights of groups that at best dont care about us and at worst would actively vote against our interests and discriminate against us. Tariq is also right in the sense that fear should not be the only reason we vote. We should vote based off of what the candidate offers because Democrats have a reputation for taking black votes for granted.

Trying to market that as "dont vote" is some dumbass shyt and hurts whatever momentum he's building up.

Can you believe people be on that shyt in 2018.

This lesser of two evil shyt when we have the freedom to build our own?

Kanye was not lying when he spoke on MENTAL slavery. :yeshrug:

shyt is real.

Black democrats are mental slaves for the democratic party. A party that was never designed to help them at all.

Above the fray.

Gandhi WAS a racist in the 1800s and up until 1906 or so, that was a product of his British education. It was when he saw how bravely and competently the Zulu fought and began to read the groundbreaking new writings of the time on racial equality (especially Race Prejudice by Finot) that he changed up shyt and became an ally to South African Blacks. And there are a LOT of receipts for that:

"M. Finot has shown by his scientific researches that there is in them no inherent inferiority as is commonly supposed to be the case. All they need is opportunity. I know that if they have caught the spirit of the Indian movement, their progress must be rapid.” (Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi, Vol 25, p. 26)"
.
Wait, Gandhi's documented prejudice and hatred of Blacks was a by product of his British colonial education? More a product of his heritage and religious upbringing.

Anti Black , anti-dark skin prejudice was ingrained in India's societies well before the first Brit made contact there.

As he got older, I think he began to (publicly)challenge some of the cultural baggage of his people, including the Hindu caste system, and the color prejudice. I think he also saw the glaring contradiction of these things while he was trying to appeal for independence on "moral grounds" .

Here's the thing, i don't know if the man can ever go to far because his fanbase loves him being petty and disrespectful. Also there are two issues being made in here. The first is that no matter who you are, even civil rights activists, if you're black you are to be held accountable for what you have or haven't done. While i think we all agree with this point, I find it slightly hypocritical coming from Tariq and his fans who are always the first to point out how much he has done for black empowerment while asking others what they've done. Well John Lewis was there back in the day putting in work and deserves his respect for that. Which leads me into issue two, which is Tariq has no problem being disrespectful when as another breh said on here earlier, there are ways to respectfully disagree with someone.

But again his fanbase doesn't care and neither does Tariq...hell the fact that he sees so many of yall triggered like this i fully expect him to dbl down and keep pouring gas on this fire. I expect a John Lewis puppet by the end of the week. :mjlol:

What did the work John Lewis ultimately do for black people? What substantial improvement in the quality of life for black people was because of the work John and other civil rights pioneers like him put in? :francis:

I've heard both positions on the origin of dark skin prejudice in India. There are people who claim that it existed pre-British era, and there are people who claim that it was a product of colonialism and that Indian people (and even gods) with dark skin were equally respected in pre-colonial days. I've seen receipts on both sides and don't really have a position.

I completely agree that Gandhi found it necessary to challenge his own people's cultural baggage on multiple fronts, and would have no objection if color prejudice was one of them too.

But you also can't doubt that Gandhi was educated via the British system in India and later London, and that any specifically anti-African views certainly would have come through this context.

He started having positive interactions with Black persons almost from the moment he landed in South Africa (incredibly, it was a Black American man who welcomed and helped him when Gandhi was kicked off of that first train in South Africa for being "colored"), and it was the combination of his positive interactions with Blacks and his understanding of the scientific fraud of racism that led him to begin changing. He had rejected his anti-Black prejudice and started openly campaigning for racial harmony years before he even returned to India.

There was a campaign in Ghana that got a statue of Gandhi taken down...The petition was multi parts and listed some of his racist quotes....many are from several years after he landed in S.A.

Tear down the Gandhi statue [1]

Breh, people have been riled up on the internet since Ferguson. Black Twitter has been making passive aggressive jokes towards white people forever. nikkas been sharing factually inaccurate (and often cultivated by ***** and reddit) hotep memes for years. All before Trump. And we haven't progressed beyond that. People are literally begging black folks to vote. No one is more awake now than they were pre Trump.

I want overt racism, I can see coming, and deal with accordingly.

I want the racists to be out in the open like they are now, not hiding their ulterior motives under a “PoC/LGBT” blanket that will ignore and even harm Black Americans.

If Hillary would’ve won nikkas would’ve just been sitting around like:

05onfire1_xp-articleLarge-v2.jpg

Because “our” candidate won, while she ignored all our issues, needs, and we’d continue to die in the streets.

Now Black folks are like:

v8vn6mlhgr701.png

And acting accordingly, there are more Black gun clubs NOW more than ever. (Huey P Newton gun club to name one)

More Black folks are making a conscious effort to patronize Black businesses.

Obama was America with the IG filters on,a bullshyt caption about hope, and photoshop.

Trump is the raw unedited photos, I want the real America to be on display for the rest of the world so they know what this country is about.

It’s a racist white supremacist nation that doesn’t care about any one but whites.

It’s not some post racial post gender fantasy land like the democacs want everyone to believe.

There’s a lot of positives from Trump being President for us.

It’s not all doom, and gloom.

We survived Slavery, reconstruction, Jim Crow, crack etc.

If my ancestors saw me acting like the sky is falling cuz some racist cac that can’t affect my life in any real way they’d be disgusted and probably call me a p*ssy.

We’ll all be fine after Trump is done in office in 2024, we been through worse than a reality show tv star with dementia.
