Haiti has a history that needs to be known.

I remember watching a documentary that spoke about how after independence Haiti was isolated from its neighbours from an economic perspective. That still doesn't explain how and why and what is holding back Haiti's success. But I can imagine it might have something to do with kikulacho ki nguoni mwako basically that which harms you is closer to you than you might think.

I will see it even though I disagree with Tariq on a few issues. I find it quite interesting that he will be focusing on Voodoo in the documentary as well. Hopefully some negative myths surrounding that spiritual system are dismissed.
