We ain't the same tho bruh. Us black Americans and yall

I have "AADOS" blood in me for one so I can speak on it. And yes culturally there are differences but the treatment in America is the same. Go down to Miami Dade and tell all those Haitians in the hood about and in jails about their privilege. You think racist cacs can tell the difference between black immigrants and AADOS? Racist dont care about the nuance just like they dont care if you got money. your still a nikka to them. Tariq is probably in some LA suburb with 2 % or 3% black population. East coast cities are heavily integrated with black immigrants or those 1st or 2nd generation to the point you cant tell who is who by looking at them.

Problem is he gets his messages crossed and mixed. I watched one of his streams where he called people like Candace Owens 2nd generation immigrants when she's from the VI which is a US territory. Tariq's got the platform and the gift of gab but he commonly gets simple things wrong like this.

There are black immigrants who don't hate US blacks at all. There are African immigrants who come to the US because countries in Africa have a water crisis and it's literally a life or death move. There are black people under dictators and war torn countries who literally have to escape to another country to live. Wholesaling all Africans and Caribbeans as c00ns is just not accurate.

You're making the mistake of assuming he cares if hes wrong or that he spends more than half an hour doing any research on a topic.

I need to see statistics that show how legal immigration in any way harms black people. Black people need the laws of the land enforced to protect us. There are extrajudicial killings happening, white supremacists who want a genocide have infiltrated government, law enforcement and military. Kids in black neighborhoods are dying because of lead poisoning. Schools in a lot of black neighborhoods are literally falling apart. Obesity, heart disease, and other preventable health problems continue to plague us, flint still doesnt have clean water. Africa is being recolonized. Median black wealth is a joke compared to white wealth and intergenerational wealth is stagnant and shrinking as well as the black middle class, and we are some of the biggest victims of wage theft.
I'm not throwing on the Cape for Latinos who practice anti black racism in their own countries and who will likely bring those biases with them, or the arabs who feel the same. I'm just in touch with reality and know that compared to the rest of the world, america barely let's any immigrants in to begin with, and the illegals that stay can only do so because of the businesses that hire them and rent homes to them. If you want to stop that, prosecute those companies. It's that simple. But nah, people want to blame government.

People wanna put energy on the idea of immigration as a process . People want to complain that immigrants are doing something that's on par with all of the problems mentioned above. If you want to complain about immigrants and waste your votes in elections to go to a candidate that wants to restrict legal immigration, go right on ahead. Let them shut the gates down so you can feel better knowing you're being dominated by the devil you know than the one you don't i guess :yeshrug:

For me, white supremacy is the biggest domestic threat and Asian supremacy is the biggest global threat. I'm more interested in collaborating with black people at home and abroad because (white) America has shown over and over that it would rather nearly destroy itself than admit that we are full citizens. In the event that the country begins to somehow become even more inhospitable, I'd at least like to know theres somewhere else I can go in Africa or the Caribbean where I can be treated as a human being rather than trying to burn bridges on some ' fukk out of here immigrant!:scust:' bullshyt.

If some of yall wanna stay on that anti immigration wave that suddenly just popped up conveniently before the election then go on ahead. Exercise your freedoms:yeshrug:

Is the root of your thought process coming from a place that at the end of the day you don't particularly care about the history of DoS in America, empathize with our current state of existence as a homeless tribe trying to find identity and shelter on this earth and ultimately do see us as an other or even lesser? In this current broken state of affairs we MUST support a group of people that already have a home to go to, sense of identity, etc? We can't expect Africans to empathize and understand our plight at this current moment in time? If you had a sibling that was 10 years younger than you kidnapped, tortured and psychologically broken down your mentality is to not offer a space of healing for them because they aren't in a condition to be helpful to you? Especially when all the rights you get in the first place in this country was provided to you by that younger sibling? That's crazy. :jbhmm:
This isn't even a question I don't know why it references that quote. You wrote a whole bunch of assumptions then went hmm crazy. Are you telling said poster what he thinks or Immigrants what they think?

it's almost as if, he just says things, to rile up his fans, and keep them tuned in

almost like a media personality, concerned about money and ratings

almost like everyone else with a podcast, show, book, and something to sell

almost like all those right wing shock talking heads who have the same exact game plan

what did y'all think he was :patrice:

he literally said the best black women are those with white moms... then married one with a white mom

but nikkas like "no we wouldn't"

you already did

im also gonna keep repeating this part but is it not strange to anybody ho for years he has had this "agent" talking point? I've never heard someone use it so much , much less anybody in general. If he isn't one himself he had to have been around someone who was that used it. why is he so obsessed with using that phrase? I don't know man maybe i'm overthinking but idk.

I'm questioning how immigrants think. It seems like there is 0 empathy to the plight of DoS with the rhetoric being tossed around. Or am I missing something?

See what I mean. Some of these people are half African American but we erase that part of the equation and pretend it's the magical Caribbean blood that made them who they were even though they learned everything that made them famous right here in this country from African American life, in the belly of the beast, not on a predominantly black beach in paradise.

:hhh:

Who the hell said those people are great because they are carribean? I said without immigration those people would not exist. Some are descendants of two immigrant parents and some are half and half. Y’all be putting extras on shyt to support your ridiculous narratives.

:francis:

I understand saying this about the Hispanics because many are extremely racist and have been for decades to Black Americans, but to say in general? What the hell?

He taking this view from Yvette too much and jacking it. Yvette herself talks about she got no issues having allies with the Black immigrants if they aint c00ns but now Tariq is on his Oochie Wallie/One Mic steeze after years of pretending he got so much love for his African and Caribbean brothers.

Now after saying African women are spreading AIDS in Atlanta he is doing this nonsense.

If this were the 19th century, this breh would literally be selling snake oil :yeshrug:

Again you are not questioning... You said I think... you are making assumptions, you pose a question then answer it yourself continuously... Immigrants don't think in any one way. Just like you and your immediate family members could have widely different opinions in the same household and family.

What you THINK isn't reality. It is OPINION. No rhetoric was tossed around. Point some out for discussion. @The Wave said he simply looks at that anti-immigrant energy the same as anyone that would say go back to Africa. It comes from a similar place of ignorance. How you take that as not having empathy for AA's or anything else is pure conjecture.

No, I'm questioning. Now what are the reasons black people have to not support immigration? You understand we have our reasons, correct?
