What reasons do black folks have to support immigration?

It's part of the reason America could brag about being one of the most developed places on earth. Importing the best Brains as well as harnessing local talent to perfection was a root map to being top in the world.

You have Africans who’ve been here who still look down on AA, after fleeing the struggle over in Africa and benefiting from our struggle here. I’ve always been an advocate of Blackness wherever it was from, but personally I and a number of people I know are just sick of it. We’re more in favor of creating some sharp lines, and even making it uncomfortable for those sellouts.

Immigrants from a different culture don't fukk with people outside their culture. Goes for whites, blacks everyone in between. It's a survival mechanism. It's not hate. sell out's are not worried about anyone but themselves. don't dedicate energy to them that's an L for you.

If someone comes to America as a Black immigrant and they don't want to align themselves to local Black people you are not impeding them by further segregating yourself from them you are giving them exactly what they want

Some of these people are half African American but we erase that part of the equation and pretend it's the magical Caribbean blood that made them who they were even though they learned everything that made them famous right here in this country from African American life, in the belly of the beast, not on a predominantly black beach in paradise.

And it’s not like we would’ve just been without. The times created those men, and if they had never existed someone else would’ve come along.

It’s like thinking that if you don’t show up for work anymore the company shuts down. No, someone else steps up and fills your role.

The men you named answered the call, and we honor them for that. But there would’ve been others if they hadn’t because that’s what the times demanded.
