I’m for immigration, as most countries take part in the immigration process, but there needs to be a cap on the people allowed to come each year, with each country having an allocation or percentage accounted for in that cap.

The current vetting process is fine, as it’s already one of the most strenuous in the world.

Those who are here illegally need to be deported back to their homes. If you have had children here, then naturally they are citizens(that law needs to be revisited as well), and if they aren’t old enough to make a decision, then you can decide if you want them to be deported with you, orphanages, if they have citizen family then they can stay with them, etc, but anyone here illegal should be deported.

Crack down on companies who employ illegal immigrants. Make penalties and fines harsh to discourage companies from even going that route. This isn’t an issue of politics, as it’s been going on for years now while both parties have represented in the White House. We need to vote for those who will crack down on this.

Will never happen, too many bleeding hearts and hippies.

I agree and the way I read the law, does not qualify illegals coming here to have a baby that the baby is legal. I'd toss both of them but I'm an a hole so...

I asked a question and you deflected to another issue . Immigrants doing jobs below living wages is an issue . It's not A, B , C...theres an economy that takes all of the above, there's not a single magic bullet. yes illegal immigration is an issue that disrupts the economy of lower waged earners and removes power from unions and other collectives who can fight on behalf of lower wages people.

The answer: It does not. Supporting it. Building a wall. Fighting a group of broke immigrants for $5/hr jobs. None of it does anything on any practical level to fix/reverse the huge wealth and income gaps that black people face in this country.

It is definitely A, B, C. Some threats are way more important than others. If you stopped all immigrants from crossing the border illegally or overstaying their visa tomorrow, black folks will still be in dire straights. If you could stop or drastically reduce systematic racism/job discrimination, that shyt would have a HUGE impact on the economic prospects for black people in this country. It is not that hard to understand.

If you exported all the stuck up AA's in the populace elsewhere would they be an accurate depiction of your populace? I judge people solely as individuals... generalizations are for fools. If I have to address someone I'm specific. There are anti-immigration people, Tariq's disciples and plain old haters. None of them are a general representation of AA's and neither do they speak from a place of consensus. It's hard to have these conversations when people can't be honest.

Most well to do AA know where they came from or their history enough. Not all of them behave this way but most do and they are usually reminded at least a few times a year

You're the only one mentioning a wall. Just focus on ensuring immigration is controlled and put the rest of time and effort into the black communities and economies to ensure we sre being taken care of. And yes those $5 jobs , which could be $10-15 jobs are important because in certain areas it's a livable wage with some subsidies and can keep money in the community. It's fine if I don't get it, I know where I'm coming from and it's very simple and hopefully YOU get it and it makes sense

I never said 0 immigration but if you have enough growth without immigration then you could definitely stop it. China is another example .They net more people leaving then people coming into the country. Immigration in the US isn't a necessity, as much as some people champion it . Most of it is due to infrastructure / real estate and that is why you're seeing high numbers of gentrification
