so your issue is competition? you might not want to compete with foreign talent on home turf granted but those jobs are not stolen, they go through the same application process and everyone else. If someone doesn't fukk with you avoid them.

You have plenty of immigrants who are also in America because America directly affected their homeland. You don't get to overlook those folks. We not kicking rocks and we won't go anywhere. This is reality. No matter how we feel about each other we will be right here

Just focus on ensuring immigration is controlled and put the rest of time and effort into the black communities and economies to ensure we sre being taken care of. And yes those $5 jobs , which could be $10-15 jobs are important because in certain areas it's a livable wage with some subsidies and can keep money in the community. I agree. I got no problems at all with controlled immigration. I think where we'll just agree to disagree is the fighting immigrants for these low minimum wage jobs. These jobs don't do anything on a substantial level to improve the economic prospects of black people in this country. There's a corporate-centered culture in this country that encourages these companies to pay people the absolute least they can get away with or just outright outsourcing the jobs to Asia altogether. Companies like General motors literally wrecked black towns like Flint, MI. They got government aid a few years ago and still laid off thousands of workers (many black) just last month. illegal immigrants is nothing but a cheap scapegoat. There are bigger fish to fry

Problem is he gets his messages crossed and mixed. I watched one of his streams where he called people like Candace Owens 2nd generation immigrants when she's from the VI which is a US territory. Tariq's got the platform and the gift of gab but he commonly gets simple things wrong like this.

There are black immigrants who don't hate US blacks at all. There are African immigrants who come to the US because countries in Africa have a water crisis and it's literally a life or death move. There are black people under dictators and war torn countries who literally have to escape to another country to live. Wholesaling all Africans and Caribbeans as c00ns is just not accurate.

Alot of Africans and Caribbeans be on that c00n wave when they get here, thinking Black people are lazy and that they're better than us but, after a while they realize white people, by and large, see them exactly the same. Either way, I still would rather have African/Caribbean blacks come here over non-black Hispanic immigrants because they are still our people regardless of what basically whittles down to tribal differences, and because even if the parents are c00ns, the children and grandchildren for the most part will eventually mix into the Black population.
