Thank you for your honesty.

As black men, we can't only hold the feet of black women or feminism to the fire...we must start with the black male. Women are followers and will become what the environment allows them to become. If the men of their environment are on top of their game, provide, protect and hold the women to an underlying standard because of the nest they lay out, then the women will comply more times than not. For fear of being alone and for fear of being ostracized.

But if the men are weak, shiftless, unmotivated and not able or willing to provide/protect, then the women will become ornery, deceitful and covetous.

The truth is, black women are a reflection of black men. If black women are not on top of their game, it's because black men are not on top of theirs. And if black men are not on top of theirs, they have neither the facility or wherewithal to demand black women, as a whole, step their game up.

Submission comes from women who feel secure and provided for. You can't expect sweet, submissive women who have to conquer the same world their man has to. Sweet and submissive comes with a level of innocence that most black men do not and cannot afford to offer black women at this point.

If your asking black men to step up financially and be equal to white men in America that's gonna be a mission, lots of men can't provide in that sense but that doesn't stop them from finding submissive, conservative women, the bug issue is a lack of culture and code in the black community.

Money is important but white men n of its their power, no other reason besides that.

Money is important because of what it provides. It provides the opportunity to be in better control of our community and its trajectory.

Equal to white men is ambiguous. I mean to be more specific.

- Blacks to become the top employer of blacks: this will mean more business ownership, more control of the destiny of the black population, more wealth in black hands, more circulation of currency between black vendors, more jobs for black men to allow for providing and protecting, etc. This step alone would a huge sum of tangible wealth into the hands of many.....not that "blacks have $9 trillion in spending power" bullsh#t.

- Blacks need a code of conduct: currently, we have no standard modus operandi for how we move in society. Tyrone does this. Tamika does that. There's no rules to govern how we interact with each other and others. For example, Asians generally have a "no police" policy. If something goes wrong in their neighborhood, cops generally are avoided. If the cops come by to ask what happened, everyone keeps quiet.....they handle it internally. It's unsaid and unwritten, but it's as enforced among Asians as any written law of the land.

- Blacks need to become the prime educators of their children: this mean opening elementary, middle and high schools. Also, colleges and universities. These schools will be funded by the greater wealth accumulated through the first step. These schools will need to have a curriculum focused on providing the skills needed for the larger society. This means we need all types of education...not just on hair, food and taxes....or IT certs

I think alot of cats here think im a chick....naw im a straight black male.

And it was never an issue of trying to prove "who has it worse". As you and others have stated/implied....its equally as bad on both ends of the gender spectrum and i'm aware of that.

But this whole attitude against Black Feminists....calling them race traitors, bed wenches, white girls,....is counterproductive as fukk. nikkas let their hatred of Black Feminists completely deafen them to the facts at hand....And when you look at the fact, theres no way you can tell me that Black Feminists don't have a good reason for existing.

The more voices to point out where oppression and inequality exists, the better.

As far as White supremacy tho......Blacks have to copy the model that Jews and Asians have mastered.....Unify, increase our bargaining/spending power, push trades and academics in our children so that they can be greater contributing members of our society and with that power can start pushing agendas that better the community.

I'll have to disagree with the bolded, but overall I agree. Black men can provide black women with that (I provide my girl with that already), but it takes a level of selflessness that's unfortunately become more and more uncommon. Even if you're money ain't long, you can still have a down ass female that understands how to support you and the vision for your lives together. She just has to have enough confidence and trust in you to follow your leadership.

As men, we need to work together to build something for our women and children, because right now, we really ain't bout that action.

I feel what you're saying. My last statement wasn't necessarily "afford" in terms of money but moreso the current mentality....I should have specified that since I spent most of my words on money. Like you said, that level of selflessness is becoming more rare.

I would agree that men can provide in more ways than financial....I believe finance is only one way of providing and protecting. But it's still very important.

Black men are accepted just a tad more than Black Women. Probably because of patriarchy.

For example, I'm a shift supervisor at a warehouse job. The largest employer in my state. A shytton of people of all races and age work there but still mostly white males in all levels of the company.

And I can say that in the 7 years ive been there.....between the black men and black women at my job, many of whom are from the hoods of my city....The Black men typically adjust and integrate far easier into the workforce and climate than Black women.

They all can't be attitude having and standoffish. It has to be deeper than that.
