Yeah, pretty much dictates when you say black women have it harder, any corporate America job has more women than men, they're preferred in the workforce.
Change starts with men friend because women are a reflection of men and men are a reflection of their father.
Once again, this probably because Black women (women period actually) are educated at a higher rate. They have to be in order to have a competitive wage. Remember in spite of alll that, Black women still trail Black men in the wage race.
The wage gap by gender is real brahs.
Friend both sides have a heavy influx of demonic filth and miseducation therefore men have to be the ones to take the first step so there are more viable options for women, friend.I agree women are reflection of the men they date and marry. The thing is women are the ones that choose who they date and marry. You can't force women to choose leaders
.And all y'all hoes dapping/repping my post aint no better. A lot of y'all see black men through the eyes of white supremacists and are just as scared to fight it![]()
Also.....we very much do still live in a patriarchal society, even Black America.
The absence of men in households doesn't void that. Nor does the abundance of educated Black women. Women as a whole are becoming more educated than men....because they HAVE to be. On average a woman has to obtain a degree to even be remotely competitive with the wages that men earn.
how is it a patriarchy when BW are dependent on BM for nothing? what rules and structure do BM collectively set that BW HAVE to obey? i dont know how 3-4 generations of women ran households could sit still be a patriarchy when they have absolutely 0 respect or dependency for black men.
Ill keep it real: Black women in particular are considered as the elephant in the room as far as black socioeconomics go. Far much more is made of "saving our Black boys from the streets/More Obamas, Less Chief Keefs!" or "preventing our Black boys from becoming the next trayvon martins" than any effort to save Black girls go (this isn't unique to black culture, our society is far more concerned with "saving boys", period. Patriarchy and all).
thats not because of some false patriarchy, its because far more boys are falling off the damn bus -- and BW dont realize that you NEED your men to be successful in order for YOU to be successful. you cant thrive as 1 half of your gender. if black men are failing, black women will never be appreciated, loved or valued.
For example, I even look at modern Black Celebs as a microcosm of the "importance" of Black men and women to the world. For men we have Obama, Lebron, Kobe, Jordan, Jay Z, Will and countless others whose popularity have allowed Black men to become just a little bit more integrated, accepted, and liked within our society. For Black Women.....Beyonce and....maybe Michelle Obama?
like i said, BW being too consumed with media on some "white people think black men are cooler than us"
fact of the matter is its harder for a BM to integrate into society because we're percieved as a threat, BW are just percieved as a minor annoyance.
And even then, Black women are still largely considered as attitude having, b*stard child raising, welfare queens.
maybe if black women collectively stopped getting on welfare and having b*stard babies, it would stop. even still, there's more dangerous stereotypes that BM have to deal with. you'd rather been seen as a welfare queen over being seen as a violent criminal, drug dealing thug, deadbeat dead, etc
I'm not saying we as Black men don't face our own stigmas, stereotypes, and everyday struggles.
But Black Women are fighting just as tough a battle. Maybe even tougher in its own way. And I don't think we collectively acknowledge that enough.
its only seems tougher because BW consume themselves with too much media, they willingly brainwash themselves. the BWs oppression is beauty standards, being seen more in movies, wanting to be desired by other races of men. black males oppression based in reality, like gaining fruitful employment, avoiding becoming just another murder statistic, and avoiding the pipeline to prison.
But I can tell you denouncing feminists as race traitors, uppity bytches, and imbeciles isn't helping.
Its doing the enemies work for them.
Nah, I see more black women in positions of authority (mangers, supervisors, shift managers) compared to their male counterparts. Some black women in those positions act as watchdogs over black men in order to "keep them inline"
FairFriend both sides have a heavy influx of demonic filth and miseducation therefore men have to be the ones to take the first step so there are more viable options for women, friend..
The point is that our society is more accepting of Black men. Period. Whether they are entertainers or politicians.
here we go again, more of that "society thinks black men are cooler than us" talk.
This is further proof that Black women face significant challenges, legitimizing the effort of Black Feminists.
no, its not proof black women face significant challenges. its just proof that BW are legitimately jealous that BM havent' succumb to the constant media onslaught against us.
And lets cut the bullshyt and speak on the facts (http://www.washingtonpost.com/r/201...itics/Stories/2FinalBlackWomenintheUS2014.pdf)
In fact, Black women are more likely than any group in America to work for
poverty-level wages, thereby making them the most likely of all Americans to
be among the working poor.
In fact, Black women are more likely than any group in America to work for
poverty-level wages, thereby making them the most likely of all Americans to

this is not gender related, its race related. BM have a higher unemployment rate, and even if all BW became BM, you'd still be earning less than EVERY other group, male or female. only difference is it would be a lot harder for you to get that job.
Black women are especially likely to be a victim of violence in America. In
fact, no woman is more likely to be murdered in America today than a Black
woman. No woman is more likely to be raped than a Black woman. And no
woman is more likely to be beaten, either by a stranger or by someone she
loves and trusts than a Black woman
BLACK MEN are more likely to be a victim or violence in america, far more than ANY other group. but you chicks dont care about that, you only care that your gender is being protected. doesnt matter if 10 black males get shot today, long as the females are safe; no complaints from feminist.
While Black women vote at dynamic rates, Black women remain woefully
underrepresented in elected office. Black women hold only 3 % of state
legislative seats, and less than 3% of seats in Congress. And 2014 makes the
15th consecutive year that no Black woman has held a seat in the United States
Senate
i just realized you're another copy & paste poster. i thought these were your own thoughts. either way, there's MORE black women than BM in US -- especially those with the right to vote. if BW wanted to push for more female representation in politics, they certainly have the numbers. personally, i think deep down women know they aren't good leaders.
The disproportionate rate of school disciplinary actions may in fact be linked
to the recent surge in Black girls’ involvement with the juvenile justice
system. Today, Black girls are the fastest growing segment of America’s
juvenile justice system.
another lie, black boys are disproportionately disciplined, suspended, expelled from school.

Black women are more likely than any other group in America to work
for poverty-level wages.
and while y'all are working poverty level wages, the black male is straight up unemployed. you work for peanuts, while he's on the streets collecting cans -- seems like a fair deal right? this is why i hate these oppression olympics![]()
Black women are more likely than any other demographic group to be a
member of the working poor.
1. Black Women suffer both a Wage Gap and a Wealth Gap negatively
influenced by both race and gender. The resulting earnings and wealth
disadvantages leave Black women especially vulnerable during their
retirement years.
the wage gap between BM and BW is virtually non-existent. with all that equal pay crap i hear white feminist bytch about, they sure dont mind that even they get paid a hell of a lot more than BM for the same job.
While the wage gap remains a particular challenge to the earnings of Black
women, also significant is the degree to which Black Women’s wages
continue to be depressed across every level of education and throughout the
life cycle.
As a result of life-long wage disadvantages, as seniors, Black women have the
lowest household income of any demographic group in America.
Especially among those who live alone, Black women suffer an astounding
wealth gap. Not only trailing significantly behind whites, but trailing Black
men as well
.
I remember @marcuz calling me a c00n because I made a similar statement a while back. It really hurt my feelings because he's been like a big sister to me![]()

I have a question though....
All of this started because Jamilah Lemieux posted a quote saying that "One of the most difficult truths for Black people to accept is that you must learn to fear the police in a way that MAY preserve your life".
In what way was she wrong? Cops have killed, beaten, wrongly arrested, and accosted Black people for decades. Clearly they are a threat to Black people.
All she was saying is, tread cautiously and use sound judgement around them and it may save your life.
black feminist dont have a legitimate reason to exist. their problem has always been racism, not sexism. So all in all, lets not act like Black Feminists dont have a legitimate reason to exist.
