As a male, I have never had to worry about being raped Function of sexual organ....no privilege here
As a male, to insult my malehood, people will insult with female based derogatory terms (bytch p*ssy etc) Because acting like a woman is the opposite of manhood...."female" or "woman" could be interchanged with b#tch or p#ssy in this instance and still have the desired effect in the spirit of the insult i.e. "you acting like a female right now"...no privilege here....oh, and woman use b#tch and p#ssy when tearing down men as well
As a male, I have never had to worry about a woman grabbing my dikk unsolicited in public Ummm....this depends on the environment....I could find some threads on this here forum with dudes talking about fat, ugly chicks being alittle too friendly....no privilege here
As a black male, I cannot relate to the systematic rape that women from slavery times and beyond went through at the hands of white men Neither can the 2014 black feminists who wrote this....this one is simply assanine....no privilege here
As a black male, it is more socially acceptable for me to abandon my children than women Where is this acceptable? In the courtroom? Or maybe Child Support offices? Or maybe TV talk shows? Or maybe around the dinner table where Tamika gets clowned by grandmother for getting "knocked up" by that "nothing a## Tyrone from down the street"
As a black male, I do not have to worry about the angry black woman stereotype, or have my sexuality questioned because of my profession No, we have to worry about the Angry Black Man stereotype, the Oversexed Whoremonger/Rapist stereotype, the N#ggas is Lazy stereotype, the N#ggas don't take of their kids stereotype, etc.
As a black male, I can have a white wife and think my opinion on black american affairs is still valid And black women don't do this? See Stacey Dash and several other black female Fox News commentators who sleep with a cac every night but are all too eager to talk about what blacks are and aren't doing
As a black male, I don't have to worry about being foced into sex because of going on a date with a woman who paid Forcing someone to have sex is rape. Is there an epidemic of black women getting raped on first dates in the parking lots of Red Lobsters and TGI Fridays across the country?
As a black male, independence was something that was inherent- for black women, independence is still something they strive for Black men are no more independent than black women. Black men are still overwhelmingly dependent on non-blacks for jobs, access to homes, access to education, access to goods and services, etc. Where is this independent state, county or city that black men have built on their "inherent" independence?
As a black male, I have more positive black male figures on TV/media More doesn't equal better. Black men and black women have their fair share of stereotypical TV/movie characters. Is this really a debate?
