“As T'Challa recovers from battle wounds, Shuri is tested and found suitable for the role of Black Panther. She possesses all the enhanced abilities given to the Black Panther via an ancient Wakandan ritual, is a skilled martial artist, allowed access to extensive advanced technologies and wealth, and uses learned transmorphic capabilities.”

“When a now powerless T'Challa discovers that Doctor Doom infected many Wakandan officials and advisers with nanites, he goes off in search of a way to stop him, leaving Shuri as acting ruler of Wakanda.[10] Shuri tracks down and fights Namor, trying to discover for herself what part he played in her brother's injuries. Together, T'Challa and Shuri discover that the infected Wakandans, calling themselves the Desturi, intend to stage a revolution, seizing power in Wakanda for themselves.[11

“Prince Namor of Atlantis attempts to recruit T'Challa for the Cabal, a secret council of supervillains run by Doctor Doom. He rejects the offer but is attacked by the various members, and is left in a comatose state. Queen Ororo nominates Shuri as his successor, and she successfully completes the various trials, granting herself access to the heart-shaped herb. However, when she consumes the herb, the Wakandan Panther Godness does not imbue her with the powers of the Black Panther, instead rejecting her due to her lifelong jealousy of her brother's mantle and her arrogance in its presence.[2] When the powerful villain Morlun threatens to annihilate Wakanda entirely, Shuri takes on the Black Panther identity and outfit anyway, and manages to both save Wakanda and resurrect her comatose brother. Through her humble act of self-sacrifice she earns the mantle of the Black Panther, and the Panther Godness grants her its accompanying powers.[3]

nikkas don't read or care for context. Which is why I laugh when everyone of these Youtube nikkas fleeces they dumbasses for every red cent. say what you will about them, but at least the Church folks provided some tunes and comradery, these nikkas just providing ignorance and degradation of one another. For what? tariq got his bread and his crib, what the end game for all this BS is?

you lifted a synopsis that still has tchalla involved, and even then, just because something happened in the comics, doesnt mean it needs to happen like that in the movies. look at civil war. and even still, the shuri of the comics is nothing like the shuri of the movies. but you obviously dont read comics

Cuz his wife isn’t white and it’s generally understood in Black American society that if you have a Black parent that makes you Black.

You just suspending social norms cuz you don’t like what a nikka saying on the internet :mjlol:
I understand the historical aspect but this type of thinking should change, it kinda just ups white supremacy if anything. His wife, I think her name is peanut or almond(correct me if I’m wrong about the name) is white and black.

It's almost like the movie is going to deal with the aftermath of the king dying and trying to figure out who will lead Wakanda and take the mantle of Black Panther:jbhmm:

Whitaker's character died.

Michael B's character died, rumor is that he'll make an appearance in this one.

Daniel Kaluuya said scheduling conflicts kept him out of the movie.

The three Mexicans in the movie are the bad guys in will likely be defeated/killed/captured at the end of the movie, just like every other Marvel movie.

I'm doubting the last line due to Marvel fanboys saying that Namur is a huge character in the comics that has epic battles with everyone. I don't think they're gonna burn him in one movie, this is going to be more of a Thanos-level bad guy who keeps reappearing in multiple movies. My guess is that the movie is going to end with Wakanda being saved but the situation in the end being more of a truce/stalemate rather than an utter defeat.

He's still clearly the villain though, just like Loki, even if he manages to stick around.

It was established that they wouldn’t recast BP after chad died. Of course the film would be off a little when the fukkin actor died who played the main character.

And just because one director made his own version doesn’t mean all directors do.

explain how the bolded works

I was saying that if Black Panther, Blade, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Armor Wars, Secret Invasion, Captain America: New World Order, and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty all featured Black women, and this 2nd Black Panther movie was the first one featuring Black men, all these TLR posters would be outraged that Black women were getting so much shine.

But instead, with those 7 movies/series all having Black male leads and this being the very first with Black female leads, they think it's some giant conspiracy to erase Black men.

I'm pointing out that TLR posters are attacking the current situation as a huge injustice, but if we flipped the script they'd still claim it was a huge injustice. They aren't happy unless Black women never, ever get any shine in the lead at all.

And the most embarrassing part is that there was barely a peep when 24 of the first 27 MCU movies were headed by White men. Having Black women in the lead of just 1 movie angers them far more than having White men in the lead of damn near 25 straight movies did.
