In my opinion OJ completely sold out when selling out was a death sentence in the black community he's the only one from that era i can think of that was operating like that, once people saw there was no repercussions besides a "wake up call" prominent black people started going that route more & being more politically correct "All lives matter"
"I don't see color" , i'm young, but i don't remember Clyde Frazier, Julius irving or magic johnson speaking out on black issues, Magic smiled more & was non-threatening & partied with jerry buss & we know how micheal "Republicans buy shoes too" jordan feels, and in my irrelevant opinion they are not obligated to speak on black issues because they've essentially transcended race or their celebrity & status has created a microcosm that insulates them from the inequities effecting regular black people, they don't want to rock the boat too much & become blackballed by non-blacks, if we had more power to blacklist them or marginalize their influence as a community i don't think they would operate the way they do & think twice before shytting on us like a charles barkley or recently ray lewis & micheal vick
nah. House and field workers existed before OJ...the step&fetchit of the world existed before OJ
