People post his tweets and videos on here supporting him and it's no problem. When someone posts about what he really stands for, all of a sudden it's "yall always thinking about Tariq".
I just turned 24 and I've been detached from politics before 2020. I thought it was all a joke so I was apathetic. Ever since then, I've been observing things objectively. When it comes to figures like Tariq, it's obvious he's a Republican first who plays the "both sides" role
I looked at his YouTube "Tariq Radio" after I saw this thread. Almost every political video on there is attacking biden and the democrats. I even skimmed through a video he had called "Trumps Platinum Con" and even in there he called Kamala "Kamammy Harris"
He was going through Trumps Platinum Plan near the end of the video and correctly identified how it's all pandering and trickle down economics. But my thing is, why aren't you calling Trump out on more of your videos? Why aren't you giving him and the Republicans the same smoke you give the Democrats?
I look at the comments in the video and there's people talking about "trump just put this out but he'll build on it and listen to us"
"At least Trump has a plan" like Biden didn't put out one just like this before
"I'm still holding my vote hostage"
I just don't understand why people can't see through figures like Tariq. My homeboy a while ago told me about another pro black youtuber named Young Pharoah. I looked at his videos and he was doing the same thing. Attacking the democrats and giving Republicans fair analysis without really challenging them on the same level. He even made videos about "Deep State" which is some QAnon shyt
I know everyone won't be able to to not get caught up in figures like this. But at least if you're a fan of Tariq or anyone with a following, take things for what they are and don't deflect when someone provides evidence for something
Everyone has some sort of bias. That doesn't mean we can't look at things objectively and have constructive discussion. Throwing out insults and deflecting when someone challenges a man you follow is childish
