Liked this a lot. Such texture and richness in terms of the filming locations and the overall feel of the show. A lot of TV and movies lack this, but it's not like it's impossible to do. Yeah, its too melodramatic in parts. Yes, a lot of cliches, but also great art can be cliches done really well. It has the realness feel to it, that Dope Thief mostly lacked.

The kid thing, yeah that was kinda dumb, leave the kid, that's screenwriting shyt.

So he takes the child home to be an adoptive dad and add a new sibling to his brood? Entirely plausible.

This is a flawed dude, yes it's plausible to me. Much harder for somebody (even an armed robber) to jump from robbing stash houses to killing kids in cold blood if he's got his own at home.

It's ridiculous to watch the episode and learn about this character and his motivations and then arrive at the conclusion that he'd be more likely to kill the kid than take the kid. That tells me people weren't paying attention to character details

. . . dont forget the forced mention of scrapple in the one scene . . . but they fukked up with Bruce Banner chuggin Titos instead of Stateside . . . . then they had the priest sippin Yuengling .. . another box checked off. . . . .. im surprised when they all thought it was marshmallows on that cracker casserole dish she didnt say "its Cooper Sharp" instead of "its cheese" . . . .... and they had Chester PD - regular patrol officer pullin up to a crime scene in Marcus Hook ?!?!! . . .. im sure next episode somebody will be in a Flyers jersey gettin questioned but askin for a bottle of "wooder" first . . . . the task force house is in Kennett Square . .. . the typical "young white hot-headed female rookie cop" mentioned a musty odor . . .. but nothing about the mushroom farms makin the whole area smell like rotten diapers meltin on hot asphalt . . .. i wont be surprised if theres a scene in Lancaster with horse and buggy on the road slowin down traffic at a pivotal moment . . . . and i aint even from that area . . .. . . cant imagine how a local native would see this show . . .. .

Exactly, guarantee you we will see a bunch of Wawa cups.

I am going to assume only the white female FBI agent will have the accent.

Question. So that's his brother's house. When the niece and him were arguing. She said "My dad died and Karen ran off. Im stuck here raising her kids, Your kids."

What type of family fukkery is going on for that line to be true? Did Robbie sleep with his brother's wife and the brother decide to raise the kids as his own anyway.

Or has Robbie been doing this robbery shyt for years and from time to time he would end up keeping the kid from a job(random stuff like what happend this episode) and giving them to his bro to raise.

I think you're overthinking this. In the same conversation the niece says she allowed him to move in when he lost his house.

so the simplest likely explanation is that the guy's brother died, the niece inherited the house, the guy lost his house and the niece allowed him to move in with his family because they had nowhere to go, and eventually the guy's wife left, so now the niece is (helping) raising his kids. Or alternatively the wife left, he lost his house and had to move in with his kids into his niece's house

doesn't need to be any more convoluted than that

This show is so fukking good. The acting is incredible in every scene. I was annoyed as hell by Tom's eldest daughter and he had enough "dammit stop with this!"

So basically the youngest daughter brother murdered their adopted mother but it was during a psychiatric episode when he was off his meds and he raged and threw her down the stairs. The eldest daughter acting like her sister ain't a real sister is fukked up.....trash bytch

The biker gang is tracking Robbie and them

His niece had enough sense to try and ditch the kid

Everyone was bytching at him all episode about the kid, it was never a plot hole, it was a dumb move by a guy who has a history of fukk ups :wow:

Not knowing what type of relationship they had, can't fault the oldest daughter for feeling some type of way :hubie:. Even if it wasn't the adopted sister's fault. Just a fukked up family situation all around :wow:

Maeve trying to deal with the Sammy situation :francis:

Meaves dad was in the gang…that’s how they recognized her uncles voice in the botched robbery. Her dad was the one beaten to death for violating. She’s fully aware of what type of fukkery the uncle just got them into

. . . that shyt makes total sense .. . . im just hoping they dont go overboard and make "Freddy" the biological-pops of the adopted kids . . .. . but . . .. in reality - the actress that plays the daughter Emily . .. . she a Santo Domingo native .. . . . . soooooo . . .. . . .
