How the fukk is the whole cast, except the black cop, from the UK. Even the young biker guy is from Ireland.
This not right. I thought Lizzy was Australian when she said something in this episode. I am like right now.

To speak on this aside from the show, this is what Samuel L Jackson was speaking on a while back. There are outliers of course. I don't want to derail the thread but it is interesting.

EPISODE 3: A solid showing. A lot of moving pieces on the board now. I"m interested to see where the show is headed. Ruffalo is doing his thing! Is this a limited series or are they waiting for the reception of this season to greenlight a season 2? In any case I hope they do if they can stick the landing of the end of the season.

The whole “how is the whole cast from the UK?” thing is such a non-thing to me.

The profession is literally called “acting”, and evidently these people are competent to a high degree - to the point people are shocked when they find out. Which means casting did what it was supposed to do.

Hollywood is the global epicentre of film and television entertainment industry - with the content being exported, sold to and consumed by global audiences. Naturally, the best global talent will be employed there.



Obviously it’s a nuanced conversation if you’re speaking about biopics etc, but outside of that. Eh

Another very good episode....I do feel like the Brandis family drama isn't really landing like that...It could've been cut and nothing would've been lost.

agree. They could've easily just had his wife dead from Cancer or something and cut the family sideplot.
Brandis boss definitely had snitch energy.
