I set it so I don't get much back so whatever it is will probably be tossed to my savings.
Same goes for me

Question. 2013 was my 2nd year working full time and when I did my taxes I owed money to the state of nearly $900... That's deductible right?
Also, I went back to school for my Masters and I took $5k out last semester in student loan, how does this work for taxes?
One of you tax folks, what's the best online calculator for withholdings?
What's that first picture about. What are the rates for do they dictate how much u get back ?You get a tuition credit if you are enrolled in school atleast part time, and no you cant right off that money you payed the state. If you owed it was due to you not paying enough taxes during the year.

returns vary depending on the persons situation. He probably has something helping him like ,tuition, kids, a house, or a business, also it depends on how much taxes were deducted from you last year. So unless you have a similar situation as him I would not expect the same refundI always used taxslayer to do my returns. Maybe I'll try turbotax. I was gonna try H&R block because my cousin said they got him a big ass return. I'm gonna probably go and see how much they can get me, and than try and do it myself.

Just adjust your exemptions. If you're getting back a lot of money at the end of the year you're probably getting too much withheld from your paycheck so just increase the amount of exemptions you take.
come mid February, so im keeping it as is.
Man i been doing my taxes on my own for about 5 years. But this year im thinking of having a professional do it for me.
You could toss the difference every week in a savings account and do the same thing mid February. Discipline!Yeah thats the smart thing to do but i like tocome mid February, so im keeping it as is.
