When I win I bring we with me
So, I finally got all my tax forms and it's time to go to TurboTax and see what's up.

I don't plan on buying anything tech related, but I'll put half of my return in the bank and the other half toward the new Ninja 650 (:ohlawd: )

What are you all doing with your returns?

I'm actually working a turbotax contract as a side gig :russ:
Ask me anything bruhs:blessed: ...on the real though, I actually have all the desktop versions and everything:ehh:
I service over the phones from home so they gave me all kinda free stuff(software, webcam, etc):yeshrug:

I'm single with no kids I'm lucky if I don't owe the state of Michigan a few bucks and I don't really get much back federal. You should really be getting money back on your taxes. If you are then you're overpaying into it and giving the government an interest free loan. If you're getting large returns you should raise your exemptions and get that in your checks.

No one here taxes are complicated to the point they can't do them for free online

gotta speak for yourself on that one.

use an accountant to do my taxes every year. take a couple different deductions cause of my job. factors in charitable donations, shyt like that

Also investment, foreign and domestic. I heard getting an audit is no fun.

But I think the IRS is the best law enforcement agency ever in the USA

At what point should you consider getting an accountant?

my personal opinion is when you honestly feel like you making some real bread. on top of that, when you're not just paying bills and living.

so if you have some investments, some property, i dont have kids, but i would say kids are a factor.

and like @morris said above, getting that audit is NO FUN.

like i said, i used to just do them myself when all i needed was a 1040 EZ

also, i do sales, so theres various deductions to be had, and knowing what those are and how those work is reason enough to pay an accountant
