I got the same bullshyt charge on 6th street in Austin years ago. I was fighting some dudes and a officer claimed i hit him as well. They be adding all kind of bullshyt in their write up. Hes gonna have to do maybe 40 hours community service, anger management course for 15-20 hours, and pay a fine. Thats if he doesn't have a history of violence. Come back to court in about 8 months and the charges are dropped or the felony is turned into a misdemeanor. He can pay to get it expunged too later down the line

Sometimes dudes are just in a fight and the cop steps in and you don't even realize he's there, your adrenaline is going and you take a swing and the cop walks in at the wrong time. shyt is just a shytty situation. I've seen a couple dudes get charged with striking and officer, and none of them were swinging at the officer. The world gonna look at Trevone as a scumbag for this, but I'd say the chances are he just got in a fight like a lot of college kids and the cards played out wrong. The best thing you can do is stay out of fights . People gonna call you a p*ssy but at least you're not fukking up your future as a professional athlete.
