That song has no impact honestly and will never go down as a classic song

Boosie "fukk da police" is a much more impactful song and better also
Now I know y'all nikkas are jokes :laff:
Boosie's "fukk da Police" didn't even make it off the pseudo-conscious chiltlin circuit :laff:

Many people do,that's most of his fans talking points on the coli. "Drake wish he got the nominations, drake can't make songs like THIS" Even when control came out, drake was the main one people wanted to hear from.

When many much more impactful hiphop albums got overlooked by the grammy's it's easy to not value them. shyt, just a couple years ago nikkas had no respect cause kdot aint win shyt for the album most of you say is waaaaaaay better than TPAB,now all of a sudden the grammys mean something again? lmao

We don't have to use my social circle. Look at his single sales, look at his youtube views vs other nikkas he supposed to be way bigger than. He aint running that
THEN ASK YOURSLEF
Kdot running the streets more than ross, future, migos, chicago drill nikkas,Young thug etc? Is he running the clubs? Pretend if you want nikka.
i'M NOT SOLD on cole's album sales either. But he headlined a big tour and his career doesnt seem as forced so he got a pass.

Again with the Many people sh!t. I won't address what other fans think because Im not them

I told you that none of that matters anyway .... but in 2015.....
What mainstream impactful hiphop albums did you think deserved more grammy nominations ?
You said many....so drop a list

No, you said. You hadn't heard any Kendrick songs ANYWHERE. so that's your metric
Now you want to shift to youtube views and singles but conveniently ignore record setting streams
with almost 800,000 albums sold.

I never said he's bigger than them. He doesn't have to be...
He's made his mark and YOU are the one who has an issue with it

You dont have to be sold anyone. Their fans already are ......lmao

Stop it, this entire forum which is spurred by "Drake Hate" was bringing up albums sales of GKMC in the lead up to his second albums as proof that Kendrick would bemuse bigger than Drake.

The convo has totally changed and the shift has been to the acclaim of TPAB

Then reply to those posters who hate Drake.... I don't

Live jazz instrumentation and paying homage to South Africa is as black as it gets...

He took a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge risk......

The "culture" wants something for the whip and for the b!tches

There are other rappers for that sort of thing
And that risk payed of

Kendrick Lamar has both an album and singles that are winning awards, nominated for Grammys, loved all around the world, played on the radio, in clubs, at protests, in television, and nikkas wanna act like he's underwhelming :laff:
This is worse than the early 2000s when recent rap fans were dikkriding Aesop Rock :mjlol:
Even worse, all the hating nikkas are either 50 fans, Dipset fans, or Future/Young Thug fans :heh:

St Louis protesters from the hood had a gang of clips using the boosie song for motivation. Before BLM infiltrated.

Post BLM black protesters enjoy the Kendrick song. So does the president. Boosie ain't super suitable but that should tell you something. People don't get mass approval and that strange "side" push for no reason. Kendrick is on that respectability tip wrapped in the guise of problackness.
:russ: "Respectability"
I can tell who listened to the album and who didn't :mjlol:

Not everybody. People like me were saying stuff but catching negs and other types of follower-hate.

I'm surprised people are still trying to push the "GKMC = classic" thing. In 5 years, even that will start to look ridiculous.

Breh, people like me were not born yesterday. I've survived a lot of cycles of unwarranted hype in hip hop. Kendrick's not the first nor will he be the last.
Aren't you still riding the A$AP wave after one good mixtape and a mediocre album :heh:
At least TDE has given us 7 solid albums :ahh:

It wasn't.
It was used in Ferguson, MI protests for a span of 4-5 months.
No where else.
A lot of places quoted NWA's fukk da Police, though a lot of those were in places like Seattle.
Alright wasn't even released as a single until it started getting used by BLM protesters all over the US.
Considering BLM has conducted the largest decentralized protests by Black people since the 60s, I have no issue with their choice of protest song.

I live in Los Angeles and never hear Kendrick Lamar on the radio. There are no hits on TBAB. None. Not a one.

Nah just one year...it's overdue

Look at the history of rappers who've had great runs[/QUOTE]
Wayne and Jay? There runs were forever in rap years.

:duck: with a deflection.com

Keep thinking those albums are solid :mjlol:
I do.
Everyone else does too.
The Booth is an :flabbynsick: twilight zone.
Section.80, Good Kid Maad City, To Pimp a Butterfly, Habits and Contradictions, Oxymoron, Setbacks, Control System, Follow Me Home, and 90059 are all good :what:
It's not even debatable, none of them are even relatively bad :mindblown:
