i could listen to nas/ghostface/old jayz/kendrick/jay elect/old lupe/doom/old kanye rap acapella easily and they'd all sound better than this nikka :manny:

He's a role player :mjpls:

I really liked his EP, but to me he doesn't hold much mainstream appeal idk if that makes any sense. But he definitely has potential, so lets just see how much improves with his next project.

Isaiah Rashad is just a role player in TDE, and he excels in that role.

TDE was looking to expand outward from California, and I guess Rashad's aesthetic is what they were looking for. He's able to fit in with the younger crowd with his hazy, weed-infused atmosphere while being a serviceable enough of a MC and lyricist to appeal to older cats. Plus, he does a good job of modernizing the 90s sound so it caters to millenials.

He's not going to be a star, but he fills his niche nicely. As long as he plays his cards right with TDE, he should be able to ride out this wave for some years and drop some quality music.

I see him becoming an average conscious rap artist. He has some original lines up his sleeve , his voice is hard to understand sometimes tho' , the tape was average at best , hope to see more from him

his tape was actually dope as fukk

i don't think he has any sort of mass appeal but he makes good music
this. i said the same thing about Kendrick and i was wrong so lets hope i'm wrong again because i enjoyed Cilvia alot...

Cilvia > Oxymoron since they both dropped around the same time. he might not really have a hit single no there, but its a good project.
