So government creates these monopolies(which obamacare will become as well) so there are no other options, and then points at people who use it like "see you support it"...

Who says I enjoy these policies? I am willing to look at a long term vision and acknowledge that change isn't going to happen overnight. I'm pragmatic so I'm ok with incremental change.

How is Medicare a monopoly?
That's how all govt programs work. You can, choose not use Medicaid, you can choose to keep your current insurance and avoid obamacare, you can choose not to apply for govt backed student loans, you can choose non govt backed home loan. But the reality is you're fukked if you don't. The price controls govt puts in place removes competition, and means you take a hit(usually higher cost) unless you accept there services.

It's the illusion choice.
It's unfettered corporatism(which in practice is the same thing). Govt pulling the strings of private companies.
As a simple exercise, ask yourself this: what low cost insurer is there to compete against Medicare/Medicaid?

You obviously know nothing of the pay structures of medical insurance. State Insurance (Medicaid) and age insurance (Medicare) pay less than commercial insurances, who in turn lower their pay rates. If anything, they have a deflationary effect on costs.
