Your washing with heat, much more effective at killing bacteria then room temp water. Its science not that hard to understand. The only reason we use soap and water on our bodies is because fire would kill us. Using it on food is unessaray and can cause comtanimation it is literally against the law for a restaurant serving to public to do that

You know the people that are promoting washing meat aren't using soap or detergent to wash said meat like they would their skin, right? Your first post on washing meat along with the rest of your points had me thinking you were just one of those that say "It don't matter if you wash whatever, the heat will take care of the bacteria since bacteria can't survive 'X' temp" and what's not, but the fact that you equated washing meat to washing your skin....sorta has me thinking you aren't familar with the different techniques in washing meat....(Pause.)

Like ain't nobody with sense doing this, my dude. This is straight up miseducation and I'm honestly thinking that the fukkers that been doing this shyt on camera, are nothing more than bottom barrel, clout chasing idiots looking attention/fame by doing dumb shyt that has everyone disgusted/incredulous at what they seeing.

But off that. Maybe the term "Washing" brings up the obvious connotation of using soap and water since washing most anything includes soap of some sort, but a better, more understandable term would be 'cleaning' since that's basically what us "Meat washers" *Pause* are doing in these situations, which is cleaning the meat.

I'm not going to make my post any longer by going into the social aspects of Caribbean Vs American style of preparing meat and fish and the like, but this is generally what's done by meat cleaners before they go off and use said meat. Also, you're qualm about washing meat and spreading bacteria all over the place/kitchen would only happen if a cook was to be negligent in the process of preparing said meat, and not try and isolate it away from the rest of his area.

Like for example, washing meat in the same sink you wash chicken in, no bowl or pan is just as silly as using a knife you diced up raw chicken with on a slice of cake or to cut bread. You got to do shyt proper, breh.
