Homeschool isn’t feasible. Most families require the two incomes to live decently. I do think smaller class room sizes in any school setting is beneficial though. If you ain't ready to homeschool you're kids...

By design. Thank you feminism and consumerism. Also a shout out to materialism as well.
Result of years of government attacks on public education and charter are fukking garbage. It’s disgraceful how this country has destroyed the education system. Basically they only want rich people that go to private schools to get any kind of quality educationMight be wrong forum but what you guys think about school districts that have 100+ teacher openings, teachers are quitting left and right. Its bad to point where school bus drivers are actually becoming susbtitutes. How do yall non home schooling parents send your kids to school knowing schools are a mess.Public or Private must admit this school year coming up is pivotal for the future.

Just fund public schools properly and untie funding from property values to fund them all equally. Privatization of school is an AWFUL idea and it always will beThe entire concept of school, curriculum and how teaching is viewed, has to be re-engineered. I think there should be a more collaborative effort between all type of schools and grouping children based on socio-economic conditions and/or overall learning style. Baltimore City school system for example, once reported they spent $15k per pupil, per school year.
A moderate private school can run about $6500 per school year, but probably facing student shortages. If the public school system could work with them to supplement the tuition for those children who have support at home and the academic capability, that lowers the population in the public school system and allow for more focused instruction to those students that need it.
As far as pay goes, there definitely existing programs, contracts or grants in place that could be used to supplement teacher salaries. For example, there is a budget for early childhood education, but also one for childcare subsidies. If you combine those budgets and move Kindergarten and Pre-K 3/4 into licensed childcare facilities, you can hire licensed teachers to teach at those centers, but also pay them more. A lot of parents with children that age will be utilizing childcare in addition to school anyway.
Kids should be graduating high school with either an associates degree, certification or completed an apprentice program for some trade.
Black women have been forced to work since well before white women begged for the opportunity. Definitely wasn’t feminism that impacted it.
There was a time like that, but had white women not begged, then it wouldn’t be this way. And it’s still by design, the welfare, the broken homes, ect…. Society is suffering from all angles. We’re literally being set up to be renters.
If they don't have teachers they're not gonna go to class with a bunch of subs. Not all will rome the streets. Some will get part time jobs and will be able to get off early. Instead of working some late shift.
The job doesn't pay well so it attracts low quality individuals with low levels of mental fortitude.
It's by design.
