since this thread is about the J&J i had a question
my aunt went to go take the vaccine and when she got there they told her that they're not going to open a new batch of moderna and Pfzier just for her unless she brought another person
they then said we'll give you the J&J or nothing
she left because she doesn't want that one
has anyone else had that experience? this is the first time I'm hearing it.

I've heard of this and it is because the Phizer 1 has to stay chilled at a low temp

And the vax are in batches
So if they dont have enough people to tale the full batch in a certain time frame the majority of the batch gets destroyed

They try to donate the unused thats left to some charity but the charity has to scramble and get people to use the batch in a few days before they expire
